Heya! Do you recommend sleep republic over this one? I just bought the sleep republic as i like something more plush and supportive as i get body pain from very firm mattresses
I think you chose correctly. I would not describe Origin Lumbarcloud as plus feeling. It's not "very" firm as it cushioned on top, but it's definitely more firm than the Sleep Republic.
Thanks for the review. If after six weeks, the springs are already "impacted", doesn't that not bode well for durability? Do you see it sagging after a few years?
Will keep you posted as I'm still sleeping on it. Got a new topper which has made a world of difference, and rotated the mattress a few times. Haven't noticed it getting worse.
@@ThespianKila I'm stil liking it, but my wife is starting to go off it. Trying to nut out what it is that she isn't liking. Sag seems pretty good thus far, but I have roated it a few times just to be safe.
Hi Mate - I've got a rooteed back and 100kg, too and tend to sleep on my side on average mattresses, but have found myself sleepinh on my back more when the support is there. You definitely want to stay away from anything medium and below. Look for mattress with good zonal support (big spring count) and some latex in there as well as that tends to hold it's shape for longer. You''ll still want to rotate regularly as us big bastards leave a dent. This LumbarCloud isn't the most comfy mattress, but I got to hand it to the back support. I've been on it for at least 6 weeks now and no complaints. The Koala Soul Mate was good, too, but not sure if that is around anymore. The Emma Zero Gravity is a solid option for support but it's a little less plush on the top layer. The Ergoflex, Sleep Republic, Macoda and Ecosa are all a bit on the softer side.
@@trav4550 The Sleep Firm. It's certainly good for you back, but it's proper firm. Like one level down from concrete. Great mattress if that's what you need, but it's full on. I will say the free trial that all these places offer is legit. I've used it and got my money back no questions asked. So you can give one a crack.
Let me get back to you on that. Just collating my thoughts on Hyrbid Pro model for a review. Need some more time on it. Ultimately could depend on what price you can get them at.
@@motivatedtravel there is currently recurring sale at the site so was wondering which mattress would be better. Hoping the support is as good or better than tempur
I haven't tried Sleeping Duck. Sleep Republic is really nice, but a lot softer than the LumbarCloud. So not as supportive. LumbarCloud is pretty good at that price (is that for a Queen?)
@@motivatedtravel this is for a king. I went way off track managed to get an emma zero gravity for just under $1500. Not sure if this was a mistake, but oh well.
Avoid sleep republic at all costs. I have one and after 3 years the stitching has fallen apart. I contacted them and they refused to honour my warranty!
Your reviews are great, have you got any details on the Dusk and Dawn (AU) - Signature MkII mattress? Many thanks
I haven't seen this one, but I will reach out to them and see if they are interested in a review so that I can add it to the mix. They look good!

@@motivatedtravel Thank you! What kind of topper did you get / any recommendations?
@@LeylahLeung Embarassingly, I will have to ask my wife that one and get back to you. I don't know, lol.
I had origin tell me their mattress lumbarcloud doesn't need to be rotated. That's amazing.
How is the sag? Still performing epic with the topper?

Just be aware, their queen and king has very soft edging
Consistent with mattress in a box brands... Origin is actually one of the better ones I found. Some are horrendous with edge support.
Hey mate, any recommendations for a 100kg stomach/side sleep with a rooted back? Cheers

Don't get mattress in a box to be honest.
