Just beat his true manifest fight last night; time to enjoy hearing about how shiny he is now! We all love and appreciate Shion in this house, so it's wonderful to be able to use him again! Now if only they'd introduce some way for the poor man to not scare cats anymore... ES Shion quest someday perhaps?
He looks pretty cool, I have to admit that. However, I have a hard time convincing myself to sidegrade my AS Shion. There are enough other really strong slash/ fire dps units I have :(
Times have changed indeed. I still have my Azami at 4* since over a year because she isn't good enough for me. Probably changes with her true manifest but depends on the units I have then.
Why are chant scripts always so rare :(
And units like alter Dewey who are just way too strong AND universally usable don't help either.
Edit: Yes, I thought of AS Hozuki and AS Thilelille. After watching this video, I have to say that Shion's damage output goes through the roof. Once ramped up it is amazing. I'm still hesitant to sidegrade him because of how rare chant scripts are. I have 35 or so right now but I hold on to them for future units and other powerful characters like AS Hismena.
Like imagine this, Gariyu buffs all staff users by 50 percent.
Cyrus after buff does it for sword and katana.
Then is this dewey character who buffs all weapons by 50 percent.
We use mana to buff Int or pwr then dewey comes in and says fk that. I am gonna buff both and give you 4 hits on that atk.
At least he doesn't debuff otherwise he would be make pizzica look like a joke.
His crystal type move also has 4XL times 3 damage which is on par with Cyrus when all his buffs and shit is factored in. It actually could even be greater. And it is like necoco.

Yes, alter Dewey is insane and I am very happy about mine. I don't even have to think about re-establishing zones in certain situations because the zone awakening simply denies the enemy their zone.
That damage from Shion is awesome to see.
He was my first 5 star and I'm so glad he is acting like one now. He's coming back in my roster!
Question. Can you do a do these manifests at 4.5? I have a4.5 mighty and I could be cool to AS him for moth manifests plus the true manifest
Yes if you have his 4.5* and sidegrade to the AS you can do both manifests! And I agree it’s nice to have him as an option again.

70 chants so it's not breaking the bank
Yesterday I did a ten pull for AS Zeviro and got him, he's the only gacha zone setter that doesn't do an end of turn buff. Today I did a single pull for the laughs and got his 5* form
Hopefully the game devs give Radias a AS or manifest. She is hugely powercrept but ES Isuka.
With alt Isuka on top, Radias is starting to get pretty irrelevant currently. She did have a good run with massive debuffs and was fairly resistant to powercreep until now
She really needs a manifest. Also what is your opinion on purgatory weapons. The staff is pretty trash on almost everyone. Only AS Rosetta makes some good use of it. The sword is much better imo as it does more damage than miaki sword and has the lifesteal for tanks. Unfortunately it cannot be upgraded.
Radias is an older unit, I do hope she gets a manifest soon too.
When i got shion i did all his quests and manifest fights, but i never once read what he does*. Now i got his true manifest I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT HE DOES until i watched this lmaoooo my go-to fire unit is Ewan AS but i also have Thille, Miyu, Hardy, all AS 🔥🔥🔥

So I recently got Eva and Mighty and then shortly after got Black clad swordsman slash zone , now I just got shion and suzette 5*.. I already have thiellelee or however you spell it lol so do I stick with magic / water zone or go slash zone team comp. Eventually both obv but which first?
You can use Serge and run a hybrid magic/slash team if you want. Otherwise you use the team you need at the time. Slash is quite powerful but sometimes you need magic especially if they’re weak to water in your case.
I'm torn as to which is better now, Shion with true manifest or AS Akane with manifest.
You can try it out, I think with a long AF overall Shion does more damage
I'm having a hard time getting pain grasta for staff chars should I do antiquity? I've been doing future garulea and I'm getting none at all sadly.
Antiquity gives you the best odds for Pain and Poison Grasta. In comparison to FGAD it can supply both Grasta but it has a more diverse loot pool. FGAD is also faster to clear and gives you more of a selection with its cat shrine remnant. If you need mats FGAD is faster and more diverse as far as loot but if you need pain/poison grasta and that’s it then Antiquity is your best option.
I’ve also been using antiquity.
I would also recommend Antiquity

For fire teams true manifest Shion is way more powerful. But AS Shion is still a great counter tank.
What does it mean by max 7? Does it mean it restarts to step one? Or?
If you change from the main DPS to another move, his multiplier will drop off. So ideally you'll set up with one of his other buff moves, then spam the DPS move continuously afterwards.
This is cool and all, but Eva is the answer

@@churchofmagic3733 Not right now. Maybe in a few months or years. The Powercreep may be slow, but it never stops.
There's no way they will ever give her a manifest. She's just too strong and one death will probably mean KO for your team. She is crystal and water so you cant probably defend against her.
