it has had some great welcome bonus's in the past but not currently. not sure why ricky is shilling this card now other then him getting paid. he used to even have historical bonus offer history on his website but nope removed that to apease the advertisers along with a garbage UI change.
No. Only segments earned from credit card spending or paid flights will earn you Status Qualifying Segments (SQS). princeoftravel.com/uncategorized/aeroplan-elite-status/
Unfortunately, i turned it off as soon as I saw it was sponsored. I like your other non-sponsored videos though ...keep up the good work and keep it real
the 5x for booking Air France/KLM flights doesn't actually need to be booked using this card just holding it. so could use a Amex Plat get 2MR and still get the 5x per euro spent when the flight happens.
I flew Vancouver to Zurich and missed my train, so I took a Flixbus for $25 (the company charged me in 🇨🇦, to Munich and saw Taylor Swift!!! I flew United. It wasn’t a sold out flight so at the back, rows upon rows were free to lie down on during the flight. I got a so so sleep. So, that was a gamble that paid off.
Just curious , why buy coffee right before going into an airport lounge? I mean they have coffee there, is starbucks that much better? (Haven't hard starbucks for about 15 years tbh) I don't even remember the taste. It could just be me being cheap, I am not buying bottled water, coffee, snacks at an airport unless I really can't get into a lounge.
Huge prince of travel miss - the best card is WestJet with a 700$ bonus right now and cheap flights for 250$ to Dublin gatwick and Edinburgh. Flying blue sucks like Taylor swift
Great material! You’ve helped many people make the most of their credit cards. I suggest creating a video for newcomers, like permanent residents, who are arriving in Canada without income or credit history in Canada
This is just an ad....
Hows it any different from the other videos?
He did say its a sponsored video
It’s still helpful information, what’s the issue
@@suusanchau It's just an advert, not an open analysis of the card
@@7LamarOdom He did ,so what makes it different from an advert by the company rather than a genuine video which it should be if he is genuine himself?
I wonder if they specifically told you to not mention the welcome bonus lol
This channel used to be good
Only card in canada no welcome bonus..i get free trip but awful card

@@aselwyn1 free first class tickets and free concert tickets. Explains it alll
Do we recieve promo offer?
one more question, if you book flights using your Aeroplan points, does it count towards segment requirements?
No. Only segments earned from credit card spending or paid flights will earn you Status Qualifying Segments (SQS).

Good info, thanks. The background music was overpowering the v/o and making it hard to hear any messaging.

Why not? I would support him even if its sponsored. I find his videos very informative.
thank you :)

That is correct.
Can Americans obtain AirFance/KLM Card?
Bank of America issues an Air France/KLM Flying Blue card in the US.

This card was only decent when it offered around 50-60k points a few months ago.
Crap offer now. Get it during the 50000 point promo
Ricky, is there an age limitation on this card’s insurance? Most cards give poor coverage on age 65+
You’ll always want to verify the stipulations regarding insurance which may apply to you: brim.flyingblue.ca/legal
It appears the coverage is limited at 65+. An excellent card in that case is the National Bank World Elite Mastercard.
@@PrinceofTravel thanks for the update. Yes the typical 3 days for people over 65. 😭

Am I the only one that thinks $80k personal is high for a pretty basic card?
Do you know if the XP stacks on Brim (Canadian) and Bank of America (US) Flying Blue cards?
The background music is too much.
No bonus no thanks but let us no if it changes
I think this video was great otherwise I wouldn’t have known at all about this card to all you hater’s out there you just suck 😮
Thank you for all the great content! Keep it coming
Hey, does buying Aeroplan points satisfies the SQD requirements?
Nope. SQD has to be earned by flying AC or buying AC tickets through AC

POT wrote an article about the sign up bonus which is okay. The WestJet mastercard is pretty much trash though after.

No sign up bonus? GTFO.

This is not a card for most of us! I don’t know anyone who makes that much a year! So glad you’re rich!
$80k per year is rich? Since when?
80k is definitely not barista salary but it’s not as unobtainable as you think these days.
