Winter storage season here in Denmark and want to empty the oil completely. When unscrewing the nut in bottom engine, like you in this video, I only get a drops of oil out from there. Is that normal? I did this after a good trip, so oil where still warm. Any thoughts here?
Yes, that's normal. This is a dry sump lubrication, if the oil pump is working properly, hardly any oil should remain in the oil pan. In the video, the oil pump is leaking because of the large amount of oil.
I found an engine that a bolt was left in the cylinder. There was a perfect impression of the bolt in the top of the piston. I’ll email you a photo
