And seeing this video, I see how wrong I was, and even feel a little stupid. Although I think I am not so wrong, as you have the most expensive device, your brain where you has stored during many years so much information. Thanks a lot for your videos.
Crypto Investor 10xT5 (5aquablue special + 3 Blue plus + 2 coral plus) and hqi 70w BLV 14.000celvin... 12 horas t5 , 5 hours HQi light and in the nighttime the 2x coral plus light 2 hours.. 14 hours complete time)
Goes to show that knowing how to take care of a tank is more important than fancy equipment and gadgets. Considering the small amount of filter media, where does the bacteria that process fish waste grow mainly? On the corals and rocks?
Beautiful tank and it helps to dismitify the idea that reef tanks and in particular sps tanks, are necessarily complicated. Regarding nutrients, every tank is different. If I let nitrates get too close to 0 on mine I get problems. I need to dose potassium nitrate.
Hello. mmh The seawater don't have nitrate. the corals don't need nitrate. so for what i want nitrate in the tank=? what do you say comes from 1990... a very good reefer in usa ( coral euphoria ) say the same about nitrate.he have at on 0...
@@michaelreef2019gmail I had a dino problem when my nitrates hit 0. I began dosing potassium nitrate and it slowly disappeared. If it I let it go below 2 or 3, I start to see a little bit of dino. It's a common situation.
@@LightSearch Ok, i can help you about this. when you nutrients , po4 and no3 are low like the seawater and you do the light to much blue ( royal blue form led+uv + violet) ore the long time only blue t5 with actinic , than you create a stress situation in your tank for the corals. this is the problem why coming the dinos. the last 30 years in don't had problems with dinos why i am respect the nature light.. take care and happy reefing..

Wish I could!! My hearing aid limits speech compression so its me not you... No chiller? Mine is 78F. What is PH? MG? ALKY? Really a deluxe tank. Well done!

Hi. Hab ja kein technikbecken. Die nachfüllen habe ich per dosierpumpe gemacht 100ml/Stunde.. funktioniert wunderbar. Lg
