Hi, quick question: why won’t the predator take its calories from two sources in such a way that both animals survive? I see in the example that once the elephant eats the zebra down to 0 calories it goes to the horse, letting it survive with 1000 calories left. Why couldn’t it leave the zebra with 50 cal and the horse with 950? Is it because of rule 2 and 3? Thank you!

In your example, why does the Zebra not make it? It had 2k cal needed and there was plenty of grass (5k) for it.
Because it was fully eaten, so it dies. It needs to have "Cal Provided" > 0

If the Elephant ate all of the calories from the Zebra, wouldn't the Zebra go extinct and you would have failed the game??
