Hi Will, I want to left justify the price to align with the product title on the product page (not collections page) for the Debut theme. I have attempted many codes, that I found online, but none of them have worked. I've placed the codes I found in this file: Assets--->theme.css. Thanks in advance for any assistance you might provide.
@@stonemen2 Hi Jim, could you provide a link to your site, so I can get a better idea of what problems you are running into? When I run the debut theme on my test store the default justification for my price element is on the left as you describe.
@@stonemen2 No problem, viewers are encouraged to ask questions about anything Shopify-related. It helps me practice using Shopify's backend and gives me ideas for more videos! Did you end up getting it to function the way you want?
HI Will! I want to remove the one-time purchase option from my store. I have checked the box in front of the "Only allow purchase of this product as a subscription" label. Now remains to install the snippet in the product page, but i don't know what to install in the code section. Thank you.
Noice! Thanks for the walkthrough dude! I also saw that there's an update, the first paid tier is now $7.50 a month, and "edit subscriptions" is now available in the free tier.
I don't believe this is currently a feature that Seal Subscriptions supports Denzil, but I would definitely reach out to them to recommend that they implement it! They currently recommend using an app called Bundler to achieve this functionality
Hi Carson, great question. Of note would be things like increased ability to automate subscriber lifecycles, the ability to integrate better with other or custom apps, & improved subscriber data collection. Overall just superior out-of-the-box ability to attract & retain subscribers.
If price isn't an issue, I would go with Bold Subscriptions. They also have a 60 day free trial so you can test it out and see which works better for you.
@@dpbhealthnwellness4615 Hi, I'm sorry to hear about the technical issue. I'm not quite sure that I understand what you mean by refreshing shortly. Could you explain a little more?
Hi Will, does Seal Subscriptions integrate with Shopify Payments? or, would one need to use a third party payment system like Stripe? If I'm not mistaken, if one uses a third party payment system, shopify will also charge a percentage of each transaction on top of what the third party processor will charge. Have you found that to be correct?
Great questions. I've been using Seal Subscriptions with Shopify Payments since launching my store. I have never used any third-party payment systems on Shopify stores so I'm not 100% sure about this but I believe fees only will be charged by whichever provider you use. That is to say, I don't think Shopify will charge an extra fee on top of that.
@@WillMisback OK... perhaps that means if one only uses Shopify Payments when selecting payment integrations, then, no additional fees will apply. Thanks. I'd love to talk with you about coffee sometime... ! Working on my site treemendouscoffee.com
@@treemendousdigitalmarketin3353What I meant is that you can use any payment system without additional fees. Always down to talk to other entrepreneurs, if you send an email to my support email on my site, we can set something up :)
Hello! Thank you for this video, I also help a coffee business and I want to create a subscription part on Shopify store, but how do you manage shipping cost? Does the subscription charges that everytime? Or how does it work for you?
Hi Carolina. The subscription will charge the customer shipping on every order. There is also a setting to turn this off. Good luck with your coffee business!
Hi Andres. If you want, customers can modify their subscription in their customer portal. This is accessible by tapping the account icon when a customer is logged in.
Hey, I would like to kindly know what payment gateways this app integrates with. Most subscription apps only integrate with Stripe & PayPal which has been a problem for me because I live in a country where Stripe & PayPal are not available, but I wanna implement subscriptions into my business. I would like to know that bro, thanks.
Hi Kamal, to my knowledge Seal Subscriptions integrates only with Shopify Payments, Authorize.net and PayPal Express. Unfortunately, the limiting factor here is Shopify themselves and not subscription app developers.
Thanks a lot for your review! will look into it for my client - do you know if "prepaid" payments are possible (subscribe for 3 months, pay upfront but still have the app remind you to prepare the order every month)
To my knowledge, this is currently not possible with Seal Subscriptions. They add new features to the app all the time, so you might try requesting it.
Hey Viky, have you found one yet for this? I have a client looking for the same thing. By the looks of it, some other apps used to have the feature but no longer have it. Not sure if it has to do woth shopify app.
Hi Will, are you able to give a demo of how the backend works after the recurring payments come through? I have 81 subscribers and it's month 1, and I need to be prepared with how to deal with staying on top of orders when the 2nd payments begin coming through. How does it work? Thanks!
Hi, great question. On the backend, Seal Subscriptions automatically creates a Shopify order. You will see it the same way you see other orders, but Shopify will let you know that it is a subscription order. Seal Subscriptions also shows you upcoming orders in the app's dashboard. It also allows you to export active subscription details.
@@WillMisback Thanks Will, I expected to be only dealing with a handful of subscribers on the first round, but it went a bit wild and I feel like it's out of control so I feel like I need to be prepared! Thank you SO much for coming back to me quickly. I am really glad they add it to Shopify orders, that seems quite straightforward. Brilliant x
I wonder if it would be more costly to create ecommerce site and membership area on wordpress, or shopify is best all around 🤔 I'm starting a lean product based biz (candles) and looking for options. Thanks for the walk through on this, would be curious to know options that other apps provide and seal doesn't
Hi Vladyslava, I would go with Shopify, but I am obviously pretty biased as I work with it on a daily basis. For what it's worth I think most people find Shopify's UI much nicer to look at. I find also that because Shopify is geared towards ecom only, it provides super helpful tools & functionality for ecom sites.
Great video!! Appreciate you doing this. Do you know if I could give a huge discount on a one week subscription (maybe even free) then upgrade clients to a monthly subscription at the regular rate with Seal?
