The FBI in Vice City Stories is scarier You can at least dodge and outrun the tanks with some effort (if anything being on foot is worse because they'll crush you). VCS' FBI on the other hand will come in groups of 3 and blow up your car in 2 seconds
@alguem520Actually I don't believe Claude is more evil than other GTA protagonists. He is cold blooded and not afraid to kill that's sure, but he is just after all he is just a simple mercenary who works for whoever pays. He is not a psycho serial killer who kills for fun.
@alguem520 The only two bosses he killed was Salvatore and Kenji. Well we know Salvatore betrayed him first, meanwhile Claude was loyal to him. As for Kenji, I think he was an asshole with Claude. He was always talking about his shitty honor, meanwhile he let the Diablos rob the shopkeeper and blamed Claude for something which wasn't really anybody's fault(the Yardie-Cartel alliance in the mission Smackdown). So I can imagine Claude didn't liked Kenji too much and he can't stand insults and disrespect anyways, so he agreed to kill him. The relationship of Claude-Kenji is similar to the relationship of Niko-Ray Boccino, and Niko also killed Ray. So I think there is a chance that Claude is not that cold hearted as it looks, just he didn't really have anybody in LC to care for. He only had business partners, but no friends. For example Niko also didn't have much proplem killing former business partners like Faustin, Playboy X or Ray. Maybe Joey and Toni was some kind of friends for Claude, but their relations fcked up because of Salvatore.
@alguem520 It didn't come in my mind before, but soon after he arrived to Staunton he betrayed the diablos and the Yakuza(gangs who never harmed him) for King Courtney's orders. Before that point he wasn't betrayed anyone(only maybe Marty Chonks), so maybe Salvatore's betrayal broke him. And after that he decided he will be only for himself. After finishing the whole story the bosses he haven't betrayed or harmed in any way was Ray, Donald Love and D-Ice. I think Rockstar did a good job to show that the criminal underworld is not a fairy tale after all. And that's kinda realistic. The other which came to my mind is that in GTA SA Claude was just a simple car racer guy. He wasn't a killer material at that time. Maybe Catalina introduced him to the real gangster world and then Salvatore made him a disloyal thug.
This video is a masterpiece and props to the GTA 3 police at least their threatening/scary yelling at you man.. what a beautiful game/memories we had in this.
I think what made the rampaging less fun in future GTA's (post Vice City) is the fact that they can shoot you through your car windows. Especially in 5, once they get close to you you're pretty much done.
In future GTA games, the tanks can also be destroyed. Starting with San Andreas, it only takes 8 shots with a rocket launcher to destroy a tank. Whereas in GTA3, the tank is just straight up indestructible, unless it falls in the water.
In all my years of playing gta 3 i still get ptsd from the swat team laughing uncontrollably while shooting at me or having the army kill me within a split second with their m16, they make the entire law enforcement in gta 5 look like a joke
I use to love turning on low gravity and better vehicle handling and turn the turret around on the tank and I was able to fly with it. It's so fun. Or I would grab a bus and just go on a car flipping rampage.
I have deep regret not buying the original GTA trilogy when i had chance before it got removed from steam now we are left with the junk definitive edition Still wishing Rockstar brings back tbe classic one day i want to keep my games on steam
Staunton is safer than both Portland and Shoreside when you go on a rampage in this game because of how crazy and tough the cops are. They don't mess around!
This is one of my favorite GTA videos ever just because of how autistic it is. It's like the fella playing started at launch and never started playing any other games, he knows exactly what to do and where to go if something goes wrong, I'd call savestates if it wasn't the PC version.
