Fix Rough Idle on 2013 Dodge Dart Limited V2.0 Engine

- Very difficult to find information on fixing rough idle on Dodge Dart. Tried many things but nothing was fixing it. Finally noticed if I connected a jumper wire from negative terminal of battery to the metal box of the ECU I could feel a change of idle with my hand on the engine cover. I cleaned connectors on original ground strap from ECU box next to battery to ground. They had some crud. I also added a second ground trap from ECU box directly to battery negative terminal. That seems to have fixed the problem!
Grounds on this car are common issues like every dodge.. I have the same car and was having esc light pop on and off randomly then one day no crank no start. Cleaned grounds and now running better than before.
my cars turning on but it won’t crank to start,,, i clenaed the bottom ground wire but the top where it connects is extremely hard to take off as a socket can’t fit, was this what helped it run?( negative ground touching the body frame)
@@officerspooder yes there are like 3 ground connections all in same spot. I used a socket, removed, sanded, good as new. Get the connection on transmission housing as well right there
Thanks mine is starting to act crazy... even tried stalling I'll definitely going to look into the grounds and all wiring b4 assuming idle air control valve

Check the battery. My FM reception problem went away with a new battery.
