I know your comment is 5 months old now so you might not see this, but for anyone else wondering, first off, the net helps to protect the hair by taking some of the tension off the natural hair, and also, in cases of thinner hair, you are able to sew directly onto the net alone where there are larger gaps between the braids. Hope this helps someone! 💜

Honestly sew ins is one of the easiest techniques to learn especially of you learn to braid neatly and efficiently
