Very interesting gadget! I always enjoy your videos!! Thanks for all of the time and effort you put into them!
Great to hear! Heading over to your newest video shortly. :-)
@@electronicsNmore We want to see your co-op for any video.
Love the simplicity of how you explain things. Thank you !
You're very welcome! Be sure to share the video link with others. Thanks
good stuff. I wasn’t aware of these little generators but I guess there’s a whole cottage industry of diy hydro folks making pelton wheel turbines and stuff.
So that's how they count our water usage. Never thought about it but now it makes so much sense.
I am planning to install the larger capacity for my project, a 32 storeys apartment.
To have an free energy resource for corridor lighting in every floor
Super interesting test. Would also be cool to see 10 of them run in series off the same water line to see how much the liquid discharge flow is restricted and if you could get 12 watts out of it. A preppier could use this to charge a phone or operate a small radio in an emergency.
True, that would be interesting to see.
Very cool
I could Use this technology to increase my flow pressure.
I don't think so. The electricity made using the momentum of the water would not be enough to power something else to pump water harder. If you mean would it going through it increase pressure I would also think no. Any resistance from the generator should decrease pressure down stream. The waters momentum is what we are taking the energy from. There will be energy lost during that process so if you try to feed it back into increasing the same source it can only be a reduction.
Hey Thanks!! Fantastic explanation I can share with my kids. Sub earned!!
I love how clearly and simply you explain everything. I went to subscribe but couldn't because I already was subbed!
This was great presentation!!! Please suggest what I can use this for.
That was very interesting as I never knew about these mini generators before now! Thanks eNm....
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow that's really a well built design inside isn't it Thanks for sharing man 👍 I was thinking to buy one cuz we use water pump everyday so i can charge a 3s 18650 battery Hah
Thanks for watching!
Thanks sir good
Always great stuff impressive
Thank you! Cheers!
Always enjoy your videos!
4:00 Genuine question - shouldnt be diode pictogram for negative line switched 180° (facing down)? Diode component is one way, that's what I know.
Im also confused but if faced like that power would go both ways equally right? With his way positive currant goes one way only? Not sure
could this power a small 12v sprayer pump?
I like this kinda stuff but what can you really power with these besides led bulbs?
Hi, very interesting video. Is there I way I could use/modify this turbine to generate 7-9V and up to 2A?
I've got something in my house that I think uses something like this. It's a shower head with LEDs in it. Changes color depending on temperature.
Similar
i can see this being used right beside a digital temperature sensor without running a long wire to power 12v or whatever voltage... potential energy from a kinetic source
Are these ever used with super capacitors to operate the motion sensors and solenoids-controlled valves in automatic urinals, toilets, sinks, etc? They rarely seem to have batteries and hard-wiring for such a use seems a bit much for something that could be powered by the water flow itself.
Interesting. Maybe power some LEDs while showering? I wonder how much restriction it adds. It looks like the existing rectifier, etc could be removed and replaced by something to produce pulses and count them. Maybe a more useful flow meter than a generator.
Without the flow restrictor, you can easily power a super bright COB LED.
this product already exists @sylvan, my sister bought 1, its called a disco shower head or something
This or a larger device could be an interesting emergency power source should your home be dark but a municipal water utility were still operational.
If you add a step-up transformer, will the voltage increase?
Wait a minute... this isnt a BigClive video?
is there any way you know of to convert a 110 volt generator output to pure sine. it would make a great video??
Just want to ask regarding what kind of circuit board is being used by the generator?
Probably just a three bridge rectifier
can we use it in a steam?
Thumb up!
The EVEN FULLER BRIGE RECTIFIER!
QUESTA IDEA VIENE DA NICOLA TESLA, LA FAMOSA TURBINA!!!!!!!FANTASTIC
does it increases water spread ?
What was your water pressure on the input?
I mentioned in the video. Around 70 PSI
Wow
Can i use it to charge my cellphone when in hiking?
All Chinese products are never over rated and will just meet specs or as in this case not meet specifications. They eek out the last drop of revenue they can at the compromise of integrity and truthfulness in advertising. I know first hand of their quality or lack there of, and YOU do too! Cheap price wins on quality
Where can I buy
could you tell gas water heater manufacture to stop add battery and instead we put the water flow generator :)
could be usefull
Yes. Thanks for watching!
well thats disappointing. Any decent ones to at least charge a phone to be at least 2amps than the .115amps? If not is possible to be done?
If water will be running for a prolonged period of time, then you can let the generator charge up a super cap so you can supply power to a phone.
can it charge a phone?
Yes but slowly
.............why are you wasting my money? i dont need 1 of these, i dont need 5 of these, i just want them
*goes to check ebay prices*
Beats my huge new chinese wind turbine! Can't even reach 12volts.
