Just in case some people didn't notice, in one of the ROTB movie TV spots, where Scourge drifts sideways while transforming, you can see that he transforms just like this toy, with the cab doors folding up like wings and then tucking behind him. Just a cool detail that I think is worth mentioning.
I kind of love that Scourge has a mullet, I'd think it was a big muscular neck but since it's open in the front it reads as shoulder length hair to me.
Y'know, I rather like pronouncing his name as 'SKORGE'. Helps differentiate him from the blue space hovercraft Scourge. I also think his face looks like MF Doom.
Bit of a fan theory now that I think of it. What if where going to see Galvatron. Hear me out, Scourge is in the film and like his roll in the 86 movie he was created by Unicron to sweep(hunt) other transformers. Megatron has been confirmed to be in the film you can take the leap to believe he will die and Unicron to turn him into Galvatron.
there is also a fan theory floating around that Scourge is future (Bayverse original movies) Optimus Prime that has been corrupted and reformatted by Unicron and sent back in time.
In the movie he welds the faction symbols to his shoulder not stored in the chest The symbols he explains in the movie represent the world defenders of each planet that he attacks and once defeated he calls his Master to feast
I got mine today but the smokestacks are loose on mine. Instead of buying another copy, I ordered screw covers that also tighten up the screws attached to the stacks.
I can't look at him and not be reminded how his head kinda looks like Chrome dome from classic Ninja Turtles. I love his truck mode, but I'm hesitant about him due to his spindly looking legs in product pics
The head, indeed, pops off a lot. I had a mini heart attack when I opened his box and saw a headless figure. But fortunately it just fell to the bottom of the box. As for the ankle, I unsnap them in robot mode. The firction is enough to keep him steady, and he's more stable that way.
I know a lot of people have theories that this is Optimus prime, from the Michael bay verse I really hope it’s not because if they’re going down that road to time travel or a multi-verse thing. It’s really easy to mess that up.
For the blade, I pop off the blade on my figure and then fold it up and store it on the side of his right knee (the slot where it stores in vehicle mode). It gives him a knee spike and a blade-free arm.
I was initally turned off by this figure's proportions, but it has grown on me. the lanky, almost skeletal limbs and the chainmail around the head gives me death knight vibes.
I thought that was AOE Lockdown 🤔. Then again, I guess Scourge makes more sense because he has a faction symbol on his face just like Tarn, when Lockdown doesn't.
It's a very, VERY good Transformers. But that's not a "leader class". That's an "ultra class" at the very most. Include Freezer with him and the price would be right. Otherwise, he's missing some "meat". Regardless, he was worth it to make a custom tanker-trailer to tow around. I used some generic Walmart truck to do it. The paint is done and now I'm waiting for the stickers. The complete package will look awesome.
He looks real good but he shares an issue that legacy skyquake and movie line deluxe nightbird have... long pelvis syndrome as I like to call it. It's not bad on this guy, though.
The orange in the chest is something that all the terrorcons share. Apparently, it's some kind of internal burning effect. Battletrap has it, too, by the way.
God, we're back to hands that look like a bunch of scrap metal stuck to a magnet. The Bay movie designs were plagued with them, and I hated it. Oh well, at least the Bumblebee movie had decent looking robots.
Not that this guy isn't pretty nifty, but whoever designed him really really missed an opportunity to have his form be a modern Navy LCAC or hovercraft. Heck, there's even several civilian hovercrafts he could've been, but an LCAC would've justified weaponizing the figure. He could've been a land AND sea attacker. Ah, well, can't win 'em all.

Nice. I’ll make note of that
I don't think enough people realize how naturally entertaining you are, great video 👌🏿
Actually. In recent years, baltmatrix reviews come with entertainment. Back in early days, not.
I love when his cat makes appearance 😂

@@jameshopkins166 I’ve seen that isn’t it based on just that they are the same truck and they have matching foreheads.

I have to say, you are the best Transformers Reviewer on UA-cam.

King Cold's inner thoughts are said out loud by Baltmatrix in this episode.
His truck mode definitely looks baddest ass it he makes his appearance in the Mad Max movie!
I’m getting mine today!!!! Hoping mine doesn’t pop off right away

Thanks for the tip dude

I personally see the "chainmail" as just his neck. Dude's got the trapezius' of a god.
Something's gone whack with your audio balancing.
Shame that Scourge probably isn't compatible with those new WFC figures, that *also* happen to have a gun arm feature.
Movie Studio Series figs tend to be incompatible with other lines.
This aint scourge this is straight up a MF DOOM figure who transforms to a truck
With the bat'leth in hand, I'm kinda sad he doesn't transform into a Bird-of-Prey.
Mic was fine at the beginning and then drops out before going back to excellent though still breaking, I'm wondering what happened to your mic
Makes me think of guy that works for the court of owls.
DarkSide from Twisted Metal
I literally just ordered mine…
He's Mr Green Christmas he's Mr Sun he's Mr Heat Blister he's Mr 101
Design and detail wise it looks good but man is it begging for colors besides grey, tan and more grey to bring out the details
what do you mean when you say the knee doesn't sound good its just the type of ratchet they used and it sounds pretty good
whats with the drop in audio quality?
Wasn't Bumblebee the 100th in Studio series?
He is super cool 😎
Movieverse Version of Tarn.
I thought that was AOE Lockdown 🤔. Then again, I guess Scourge makes more sense because he has a faction symbol on his face just like Tarn, when Lockdown doesn't.
I'm trying to find him but he's sold out now!
In the end eveything you cared for Will be consumed

You did not transform scorge properly you need to fold out some part from the side of the bumper
In the movie they pronounced it skurge
Looks cool just ordered also not ss-100
Is it bad to say that this reminds me of the aoe Era? Because I wanted to like this figure but I'm disappointed
Yea it is
Oh yea you seem like a really nice guy

lts not Scoorge but it is Scourge (Skórge)
I like skurj
what did he call the sword on the right arm?
Butter knife! 🤣🤣
A Bat-leth, it's a Klingon double sword.
For the foot use your teeth! It may be gross, but it is effective!
Claw hand doesn't spin in the movie either
Best figur ever
4:56 15:38 forshadowing his death 😂
And yeah. A spoiler 😂😂😂
Yeah, but what’s funny is who did that deed
@@jedijack0577I see a ghost from Bayverse 😂😂😂
Did anyone laugh at the Barney the murderous dinosaur joke?
Balt, scourge isn't 100.
Scourge
Yes, Eugene...That is Scourge.
Scourge

I put his blaster cannon on his left arm. Not a fan of his tentacle arm either.
beta
Pretty sure those are ratchet knees....🤦🏼♂️
The transformation looks miserable tbh. Cool looking in both modes though.
