- The car has not seen the road for 17+ years and needs some TLC, i want to get it through MOT so that I know how much its really going to cost me, and it it even runs for a decent distance.
I wanted to re-baseline the car and get it running nice, then everything required for MOT. In this episode we set up the throttle position sensor TPS to the correct voltage
They are both 7mm bolts guys. Sorry about any confusion, my brain doesn't sync with my mouth at times lol
I have just bought my fourth z32 300 zx TT and am already in love with her. My problem that she has been stored for a couple of years and now the engine cranks & has good compression but won't start. Any ideas on what I need to do to get her running again. Thank you.
Check for spark and check for fuel. My bet would be no spark due to old crusty wiring or corroded terminals on plugs. Also check the ptu plugs. Unplug every plug and check for corrosion. Cleaning out with contact cleaner and give it a rub with a bit of sand paper
@@ModorFix Thank you for your quick response. I did check both spark & fuel but I only did a quick test. When I get home next week, I will strip, clean & test all 6 spark plugs ....... and if that does not work, I will pressure test the fuel line. Thank you.
