I mean, me too, but sometimes people have lots of thoughts and opinions 🤔 But for sure, nearly all the comments are coming from a totally kind place, and those don’t bother me at all.

Hello, I just discovered your channel today; I enjoy it and find your voice very soothing. I have a son with autism as well (he is now almost 24!) and I work as an autism consultant for a school board in Toronto. So... lots of IEP meetings 😊. I’m with you with the collaborative approach! Not everybody will like you, some people will be jealous and there are just people who plain like putting others down, but remember there are people cheering you on and love you for you! Also, I loved hearing about your deck box LOL Shoulda just dragged it with a rope haha

Good grief, I was about to strap that stupid box to the roof of my car except it was STILL POURING RAIN. Oh well, it’s good to have misadventures like that to keep you humble, right? 😆
I totally just commented over on IG about how you were blazing through on Fireworks. There was absolutely no malicious intent in that! I think it’s so awesome that you can rock the multi-placing! I’m comfortable with a 4, at least with squares, but still need some practice with rounds.
Your story about the deck box sounds just like something I would do 😂. Way to show that box who was boss!

Don’t give it a second thought, Kara! Comments like yours (and nearly all the others) don’t bother me one bit - I probably wasn’t explaining it super well. It’s the really rare one that has...kind of a snark or judgement in the undertone? But I try to assume I’m just reading into something that isn’t there.
I totally agree that multiplacing seems a bit easier with squares than rounds! It’s a bit of a different technique. The 4 is one of my favorite smaller placers!
Oh my gosh, I was a hot mess with that box, but totally laughing about it now 😂 We’re both a bit stubborn, right?

Congrats to the winners. Also congrats to you Katie for the sucess of your channel. I just started multi-placing. So far, I've only gotten the hang of the four placer. I'm going to be working on "Halloween Kitty" after I finish "Plant Witch", so I think I am going to have to master a bigger multiplacer. I don't think the four placer is going to cut it on that canvas. I too have a Toyota Rav4 so I could picture you trying to get your furniture in the car. I know it was frustating at the time, but on a positive note, it did make for an enjoyable story to tell during your WIP and chat.
Thank you so much, Kris! Hooray for getting the hang of the 4-placer! I started the same way, with the smaller placers and gradually worked my way up as I felt comfortable. Even going up to a 6 or 7 would probably help Halloween Kitty go a little quicker! Keep an eye on those 310 drills, though. If there’s as much trash in yours as there was in mine, it makes multiplacing tricky. I’m excited to see your finished Plant Witch!

My favorite is the 6 placer! It’s the one I reach for most often. Your rain story was so funny (I know not at the time!) because I could
picture everything you were saying! It’s so relatable to mom life in general!
Isn’t it just the epitome of mom life? 💁🏻♀️ What can you do? I’m cracking up about it now, and hey, now I have a place to stash all my kids’ outside toys. If I can’t see it, that means I’m organized, right?

My favorite multiplacer is the four but I also use the seven. Anything bigger than that (and sometimes with the seven), I go crooked and spend more time fixing drills than placing them.
I loled at your Sam’s Club story. Shortly after moving into our current apartment, my husband and I went to IKEA to look for dining room furniture. We found a cute and affordable table and chair set and got it. When we got out to my car (a Honda Civic) I realized that we were in trouble. We eventually got it crammed into the backseat and had to slam/lean on the door to get it to close.

I totally get what you mean about the multiplacer sizes! I feel like there’s such a learning curve, and it depends on how you pick up and put down the drills, too.
Oh my gosh, I can SO relate to your IKEA story almost identically! We had a Honda Accord when we first got married and oooh boy, we were too optimistic with what we thought could fit in there. I mean, how can you say no to cute and affordable?? 😂

I’m so sorry that happened to you. There’s always going to be trolls, because they’re jealous. However, there was no excuse for Mrs. Coffee’s behavior regarding Bella De Nicole. She was out of control talking to everyone who subscribes to her. I now look at her very differently. She definitely showed her true colors. Anyhow, I mention this, because you are doing a great job, and I believe you are truly genuine. You even handled talking about this “troll” with grace. Stay you girl. You got this! 🥰
I try not to get involved in other people’a conflicts and just focus on myself, and how I can spread a little kindness and grace in these really difficult and stressful times. Thank you very much for your kind words and encouragement, I really, really appreciate it 🥰

There will always be negative comments, and you just need to ignore and try not to let it bother you. It bothered me quite a bit when I first started my channel, but eventually I took my friends advice and just ignored them. I might fume for a few minutes and then I remember, oh yeah, this is the internet and people are bored, jealous, and have nothing better to do.
My favorite size multiplacer is a 6 or 7.

I think you Are a great mom ! I had the huge joy and was a stepmom for the world greatest boy , he has autism , i learned so enormous much more from him than i think he did from me ❤️ but it is sometimes hard , no point in denying that ( sorry if i m a little difficult to understand , but again Norwegian ) lool :)

Congrats to the winners!! Also to answer. My favorite multiplacers are 5, 10, and 15 placers because I work in even sections and it just zips right through the canvas. I also tent to snap my multiplacers because of a heavy hand (whoops). I don't know if they make a 20 placer which would be AMAZING!
I’m so impressed by you zipping through with a 15-placer and my mind is blown at the idea of a 20! I tried my hand at the 15 yesterday for a bit and I just couldn’t get the drills to line up as consistently as I like. Maybe with more practice? But I went back to the 12 and it went much more smoothly and quickly again.
Have you ever had trouble digging out your broken placers from the pen?? It’s never happened to me but I would cry if it ruined the pen 😬
@@DiamondsandWashi I haven't had that issue yet. I always wrap my multiplacers with washi tape due to fitting with a bit of tape hanging up from the top so when it eventually snaps it has that piece of tape to pull it out. Fingers cross it doesn't happen to me. I find squares line up easier than rounds do, though even then spacing is always a little bit of a hassle. Nothing a little bit of wiggling can't fix :D

I am assuming you had an annual review of the IEP. This is very normal and it is discussed as a team, you can request anything to be considered. When we change or modify the IEP there must be another meeting, and have what I call the fab 5 (Intervention Specialist, District Rep, General Education Teacher, You, and the student). I teach 9th and 10th grade full inclusion for an urban public school. If you have procedural questions; ask away. I love galintines!!! I celebrate it with my friends.
The Fab 5! I love it! And yes, it was his annual (and technically part two of his triennial - the pandemic complicated things). I just wasn’t sure how much they’d be wanting to talk about what next school year will look like for him, but otherwise it was the usual goal-setting and whatnot. Thank you for all the hard work YOU do, seriously!! I’m so grateful that we get to partner with the school and the invaluable resources you bring to the table.

The weather here is the complete opposite, it rained most of the time this winter, with a few sunny days. That was some determination to get it home 😂
Comments where someone dumps a load of criticism on you and then aren’t open to a conversation is not genuine feedback, but bullying. Sounds like a bunch of immature teenage girls to me (my niece is a teenager and she has stories like this all the time).

See, I knew I shouldn’t complain about the rain since it’s such a rarity here 😂 I normally LOVE when it rains, actually, but the timing was just so poor this time.

And I belive the lady comenting wanting to give you constructiv critism. (I have not read the coment tho.) If she is an person saying just what she thinks, and is not as easy to hurt, she may think the comment is constuktive and good. As you say, it is easy to misunderstand on Internet. I often stop myself from comenting on anything because of this. (Like now, I am second guessing this many times.) I hope you take this as a kind way to say: maybe she was not meaning to be mean. Just trying to help you. :)
