The basics are where it’s at! I spent so much time on the basics of love making that I can be unbuttoning my wife’s shirt and already thinking 5 steps ahead on what I wanna name the baby in 9 months.
Im just waiting on a guy with a disguised voice and concealed face to tell us they fight monsters and recover alien technology 😂
😂
You have to be mutated to do that.
I read in Matt Bissonettes no easy day, Green Team CQB starts off very textbook too: one of his trainers told him they had to prove they were proficient in the basics before they moved onto the “cool shit”
Mike Ritland and Shawn Ryan are the only two podcast hosts who can really bring the most out of these guys
Lol, okay
These guys have to be so tired of answering the same questions on every single podcast. The whole time knowing they can’t really answer the questions they’ve been asked a million times over, it’s truly a wonder anyone can get them on a podcast.
It's all cool & interesting stuff, but I wish none of them would do podcasts or answer any questions. It should be kept a secret and experienced solely by the operators/candidates themselves. It's similar to BUD/S, SFAS, Q-course, etc; now everyone knows what goes on day-to-day because every operator has done a podcast or written a book about it.
To each their own I suppose
@@mzattzila89 bro that’s literally impossible especially with the internet and let’s not forget… the human factor
@@bradleygonzalez1160 oh you’re totally right. Guess that’s just the internet for ya
And it still doesn’t matter. You can know day to day, hour by hour, but until you are running so much the sand is ripping the flesh off your thighs, spending hours in 60° water, or you are lost in a WV mountain laurel. It’s all thought and theory until you do it. If I’m not mistaken the attrition rates for things like BUDS is still relatively the same even with all the knowledge that’s on the internet.
Delta is cool and all but I've seen interviews with ex-SAS guys and they always hide their identities with black rectangles. The level of skill and focus required to keep that black rectangle there just seems way more impressive to me that what this guy was doing in OTC
Delta wears all sorts of garb on real world missions.
This is what ive heard, the basic fundamentals are important. There is no magic.
Brilliance in the basics
I have a friend who says his friends from delta force and goes out on operations, but he his like mid 50's an make my friend believe these different situations and scenarios thay he does when hes away. Any way to find out if it's really true?
I’m curious how many rounds are expended per guy during otc?
from what haney said its like over 1m
60-110K. SF commander teams shoot around 60k
@@russellridge8623 I heard from an RRC operator that they even shoot 50k+ pistol rounds per single operator and that was not even counting rifle rounds.
Unlimited
Yeah. There are way, way too many of these podcasts. Same stories over and over. Seems like many former seals, Green Berets etc have no options other than to try to cash in with youtube and podcasts. I need to start marking “not interested” when these show up in my feed.
Seems unfair. Are there too many books about the military? WWII content seems to be oversaturated. Should we get rid of most of that content, too, or understand that there are millions of veterans with millions of unique stories?
Most of these people (including me) make almost no money doing podcasts. However, many have a service they can promote while recording their small slice of American history for future generations to enjoy. In this case, Robert has a gun range in FL and travels the country training others. Hope you check out his site.
Wasn’t meant to be a critique of him or any person in particular. His gun range looks fantastic. I wish I lived near it. Just a general observation that these podcasts have really proliferated and in my opinion (which ain’t worth much) seem to be covering the same ground. But live and let live ….
Spitting on a cup how classy what an arrogant person most are humble but this guy…
Groveling on a UA-cam video. How arrogant.
Actually…Bob’s a real good Dude. I purchased a weapon from a manufacturer he collaborates with and out of the blue I get a text from him asking me how I liked the weapon and if there was anything he could do make the purchasing experience or the weapon better.
That's awesome
Another delta guy bragging on UA-cam. We’ve lost every war for thirty years. Stop bragging and learn how to win a war.
Go read about Tora Bora. If they would have been allowed, Osama Bin Laden would have been killed or captured by then end of 2001. Don't confuse losing a war with foreign policy based on bad decisions and poor leadership which has nothing to do with guys on the ground.
Maybe those getting us in wars, should let us win them instead of pouring money into them so they continue to get certain individuals wealthy…
Do you think our special operations troops lost the war or the politicians?
@FormerActionGuys only the spec ops guys lost. Politicians are fine with their pockets lined with millions while our veteran suicide rate is fairly high. RIP Mike Day
