Man you've got to stand ground on line calls. But it's got to be a little bit sweeter to win after letting him have those few. Congrats on the victory!

Literally, if the ball is on the line I’m calling it out 100% of the time. My opponent would lose his shit and his game is just going to break down. It’s an easy strategy for these bots

Lets go Chris!! Way to maintain your composure after the overrule on match point. Could totally see myself blowing it from there and then replaying the call in my head for weeks...

even when I knew Chris won, when he was down in the last set when next point wins, I still was anxious that he was going to lose the point....what a great comeback and you could see how disappointed the other player was when he missed a few put away shots that could have won the match

I really wish I had your mental strength. I would have lost it over him contesting those out calls, especially the first one THAT WAS CLEARLY OUT. And then to be down 10-5 in the 3rd game, I don't think I would have recovered. You really deserve alot of credit for how you handled that.

totally agree with not arguing with people and just conceding calls when its in fair spirit, but after someone hooks me a few times I find it harder to not clap back. In this case your opponent seemed like a good guy and in singles with your head bobbing up and down sometimes you think balls on the other side are much closer than they are so I dont think he was trying to job you, but he did get a little spicy on that last overrule.

    • @PickleballStudio

It’s funny, this is one of the first times I started running around my backhand. I hate the extra running, but he was doing a great job hammering my backhand and I felt like I had to try something different. Something I’ll have to experiment with more.
