As a Chicago native I'll be brutally honest and say that Seattle downtown is MUCH smaller than I thought it would be. I don't know why but I had higher expectations. This reminds me of similar sized cities such as Dallas or San Diego
rjay erge city of Seattle is only about population 750,000 and the metropolitan area is like 4,000,000 population so the city itself is much smaller than people think it is.
@@55tumbler I like the architecture and the vegetation, the moody weather is also cool. You've got awesome landscapes with Mt. Rainier and I would say it is a city with a lot of identity. That's why.
Seattle is so beautiful. I work remotely for a company based in Seattle and I used to get to visit a couple times per year, but since 2020 I haven't. :( Makes me want to move out there.
Must have been very ear ly Sunday! There is usually more traffic. As you can see Seattle is growing very VERY fast and roads and buildings are constantly under contruction. Sadly the West Seattle bridge is broken and cannot be repaired for 2 years. 1/5 of the population of Seattle cannot get to hospitals and emergency rooms in less than 40 minutes.
As a native, this is quite a nice tour. It says "Sunday Driver", but was this a Sunday? It actually appears to be with all the tourists and/or natives walking around. The 2nd half of this is perhaps the most interesting showcasing the Amazon/South Lake Union district. A few horns heard here and there, but generallly calm traffic. As for the earlier comment, Seattle is not Chicago or New York, but it is still impressive, and even more changes from when this video was captured!
