The Colt Python Before It Was the Python

The little known and VERY rare and valuable Pre-Python simply called the "Model 357 Magnum" Was made in the same look as the original Trooper model but with Python parts and internals. Only 15k of these were ever made making them one of the most rare Colt revolvers to date.

When this thing DID evolve into the Python...major step up for Colt...(before the management got to it)....probably the finest revolver they ever issued..My friend has two of the six inch, one blued, one stainless...they are built like a really fine pocket watch...only with a vent rib barrel sticking out of it..
