    Thank you very much in ET iam solving equations without calculator bcoz i don't know how to solve this in calc.when i was solving equ my own i always getting wrong answer but now with calc i will get answer right.ET is very tough at IIT first year but you make it essy

    Hello!
    Is there a way to compute a LS on the calculator when the determinant is 0 ?
    I usually solve LS on the calculator using Cramer Theorem (x= A inverse *y ) however I do not know hot to solve it on the calculator when (a) the matrix is not square (b) the determinant is 0
    [I know how to do it without the calculator, but i was interested in understanding if there was a way to do it with the calculator) thank you!

      +Jo S To show useage of MATRIX mode. But you can use EQN to solve eqns directly.

    it is easier if you use mode 5 then press 2... no need to get the determinant and matrices to solve for x, y, and z.

    Hello there, ok I gotta question for you sir. If I want to solve a similar equation but it has only X and Y =Z and there is 3 of them, how can I solve that?
    so it will kinda look like this,
    X +Y= Z
    X +Y= Z
    X +Y= Z
    Is there a way to solve this using fx991?

      +Moayad Kennedy In linear equations, if there are 3 variables then there's to be 3 linear equations to solve it. However in Linear Programming (Simplex Method) there can be an exception.

      Ah, I have a circuit exam soon with an AC circuit. I have 2 or 3 equations that can be solved with cramers rule however they contain complex numbers. I guess I'll have to do it manually which will take long :(

      pause the video and refer the note I've written on paper. that's the normal solution of the problem without calculator. I just used calculator to make calculation easy. you can avoid calculator and do manual calculation if you want.
