The tune represents an introspective departure in heavier original writing for the
Pleasure Seekers. Featuring a vocal duet with Suzi and Patti, it produces a very
different, simplistic, almost oriental feel. It is both a metaphor, and an analogy of
human beings to birds, in behavior patterns, a crowd mentality and baser human
instincts to feel safe and follow a crowd, whether right or wrong. The birds represent
different races/religions, belief systems, and the constant regurgitation of society's
issues that draw them in. Vocalizes the never-ending cycle of "fertilizing" the next
generation to continue with the "stale bread"...seemingly never resolving issues, many
existing since the beginning of time, and still standing up today....a timeless
commentary written by these very young girls looking at their world.
