It's amazing just to be in his presence and watch him. That is really strange, isn't it. Cannot think of another human who I would just like to watch eat a sandwich.
Fortunately I've seen him 25 times no one has and will ever come close to Dylan. The only other songwriters who can even be mentioned close to Bob are Hank Williams and Kristofferson.

I also have to say that this captures a rhythm deep in Bob’s soul he does counterpoint with his voice it’s completely riveting and so united!!! I absolutely love this arrangement and how it is carried out with the angelic harp soaring at the end!!! I can’t even find the words to describe what I experience listening to this! I will say that all my sensibilities are awake! If I had been there I don’t think I could have been held back from flying; truly! What a rendering!!!
Olive Eisner ❤️ Yes we would surely use it ! Lol 😎🌟 I Love Bob even more today !!!! I have listened to two songs from this October the 19th 2019 I think and they are incredibly great!!! He is always current in my current!🍁🌟👌🏻
Go melt back into the night babe..... Ugh he gives me endless chills. I have seen Bob 18 times since 96 but I need to see him again. I'd love to take my children to his show. Love you Bob.
I've seen him 3 times since '04. I really want to see him more. Last fall was a religious experience - I'm still processing it! I love' 99 Dylan - did you see many shows in that period? There are some amazing compilations from this period on UA-cam.
@@willbigelow472 oh yes! Most of my shows were in that late 90's early 00's era. Last time was 09 in Louisville with John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson.
I am loving this man more and more as each day goes by, and I cannot possibly hear enough of him. I'm 62 and what's that tell you....his music is sounding better and better. He's so incredible, what a musical genius......Thank you Bob for all you have given . I cannot possibly put into words how it's made me feel over the years.....but damn close to heavenly.
What can I say ...I have lived many decades and ignored b dyan. I'm a musician for a lifetime. One day I happened on his SF press conference in 64, I think. I was immediately in a trance. Then I saw his 1964 Newport show .introduced by Pete Seeger.. Then I watched QUEST. I took on a full time study like a grad student.I bought the 600page book. I fell in love with The Desire album immediately. When I heard One more Cup of Coffee ... I thought I was hearing sounds coming from a synagogue in Queens. Then I happened upon This Rolling Thunder album 1975 . I have listened to tons of great music. This album is on Fire. It is perfect. At that conference in 1964 . he called himself a 'song and dance man. " He is absolutely THE song and Dance Man. If anyone ever questions the musical or vocal side of b Dylan, I can tell you a lot. First of all, his pitch is Spot On. Listen to records from 2015 - 2017. The standards. He never ever hits a false note. .and my pitch is pure as well . The musical arrangements in those Standards, are for example, the best ever done, btw . The imagination going on is breathtaking. The use of the Theremin and the old steel guitar. His range has always been greater than people realize. And the warmth from those songs.... sends me to dreamland at night I watched his Concert in 1988 at the Oakland Coliseum. He was lone on a dark stage with one other guitarist. The driving rthymn from those difficult hard steel strings was fantastic. There's always surprise and that guitar was hard driven into his brain and body. Till this day, there'are few notes in that SF bay blues that I cannot match. I'm a piano player. And when I Heard his version of Stay with Me, there are still 2 notes in there that flip me out.I picked out the whole melody line ...but 2 notes simply couldn't be found on any of my pianos. Hes, a trickster a genius and from listening to his Radio shows.. A sweet guy..... Janey
Thank you for this Incredible version. Love Bobby's vocal delivery. Genius is over used these days, but Bob IS a genius imo. People say he can't sing, but I think he's the most versatile vocalist of our times. Love you Mr. Zimmerman. ♡♡♡
Saw this show same week as these performances but at a different venue, One of the all time concerts I attended in the 60s and 70s and went to very many, Ronson and McQuinn backing Dylan--a dream come true!
La mejor versión, guitarras bailarinas , percusión energética y vientos de esperanza y el obscuro sentimiento , da la sensación de desgarro y dolor , sin el miedo complejo a olvidar y renacer

My literary take on a modern day kind of cross between Eliot’s Middlemarch and Zola’s The Earth is as yet incomplete, so I’ll have to wait until the next owner decides to sell, or mafia style make them an offer. When the book makes me loads a money. You might say I’m a dreamer. But I’m not the only one…..

This is terrible. A real mess; the poise of the original from 'Another Side' is completely lost here. This further confirms what an erratic live performer Dylan is/was.
Dylan himself has said that his songs rarely sound the best on his records. But that the ideal renditions are all performed live which is where they come alive. Imagine how boring it would be to play a song literally thousands of times the exact same way. As a person evolves so does their musical expression. Besides they're his songs and he can play them however he wants to. The records are simply a brief moment captured from the past.✌
While I agree hes an erratic and sometimes inconsistent live performer, I wouldn’t call this a mess. The most clumsy part of the song being the group vocals in the hook come off as very charming and in the moment in the context of a live recording. I also think he sounds like hes having a lot of fun during the performance.
My god only Dylan can come up with the best Cover of a Dylan song!
It's fresh and new yet familiar all at once. GENIUS.
I agree. Great comment, Olive!
I've seen Bob Dylan live twice, he's a pure genius, he deserved nobel prize

Go away from my window

You say you're lookin' for someone

I will only let you down
You say you're lookin' for someone
Who will promise never to part
Someone to close his eyes for you
Someone to close his heart
Someone who will die for you and more
But it ain't me, babe
No, no, no, it ain't me babe
It ain't me you're lookin' for, babe
Go melt back in the night
Everything inside is made of stone
There's nothing in here moving
And anyway I'm not alone
You say you're looking for someone
Who'll pick you up each time you fall
To gather flowers constantly
And to come each time you call
A lover for your life and nothing more
But it ain't me, babe
No, no, no, it ain't me, babe
It ain't me you're lookin' for, babe
Perhaps my favorite version of this fantastic song.

One of the best versions of this song. The harmonica solo at the end reminds me very much of "Hurricane".
Great arrangement of a classic song!
The greatest poet of our times. No doubt about it. Seen him fifteen times in concert. He’s the man who changed my life when I was 12.

The transition from the verses to the refrain really get this version going strong!
