Thank you for posting this repair. I am so sorry about the incident. What a learning experience this is on sheet metal repairs. I feel after these repairs your plane will be safe to fly. If the AC 43 says three rows of rivets I would go 4. May your plane be airworthy soon.

Are we gonna be able to see the whole in cockpit video from the crash? Is there anything we can learn from it?

Hey Larry, glad to see that the rebuild will be easier than you thought…. What’s the fuel capacity of those wing tanks that you have?
@aviation4fun 10 gallons each side. plus 8 in the Aux tank. total of 28 gallons. I'm going to add 1 more tank taking it to 36 gallons.
@@zenvairpilot cool. Mine only has the two wing tanks. Where is your Aux tank? And where would the other tank be?
Aux tank is a wing locker tank. it was an option with the kit.
