    One of the best and easiest Nigerian Jollof rice recipe. I love or prefer the No "talking cook videos". More easy to follow without hearing long stories.

    white guy here, tried this, for the first time i didnt end up with a sticky mess, but really put the temp low when you do the foil, the steam is an extra source of heat. Mine looked and tasted good and fluffy in the middle but around the sides and bottom the jollof was burned lol, but i think as well i didnt mix it well before adding water and the crispy rice was the most flavorful. Anything awesome tutorial :)

    I’ve made it twice now and they’ve both turned out perfect!! Granted I estimated the amount of spices and I burned the rice in the process, it added an amazing smoky flavor that made it taste like special party jollof rice. If you have a wonky electric cooker like mine you’ll probably need to cook the rice for longer at the last stage( it took 35 mins for me) Easiest jollof recipe I’ve encountered. I highly recommend it.

    This is the best Jollof recipe I’ve made so far and I will be sticking to this one. I did add half of green bell pepper and substituted one chicken bullion for one shrimp bullion and used chicken quarters instead of turkey. I just can’t believe I made Jollof rice perfect the way I like it, even better than restaurant bought 😉. My Ghanaian husband and kids loved this, thank you so much!

    My 15 year old sun has made it today and it was delicious! I helped him with the chicken and instead of frying it , we put it in the airfryer first untill it was crispy and then we fried it shortly in it's own (chicken)oil that was drifting on top of the marinade "broth" after 24 hours sitting in the fridge. Tnx! Namaste from the Netherlands 🌹

Now I am planning to cook the same using ur recipe. The only doubt is that , we can do the same with chicken also? Here in my place, turkey is not available. Kerala is famous for its variety of dishes. And now i am planning to introduce this to my friends and colleagues too. Every foodie will definitely go for it. Thanks for the wonderful presentation.

    Am I the only one scared by the amount of cooking oil she poured in that pot?

    • @SnSungod7
      @SnSungod7 4 роки тому +9

      That amount of oil is necessary for the rice not to stick to each other plus it will help rice not to get burned under the bottom of the pan

    Jesus love you, he died on the cross for you, accept him as your lord and savior he can change everything. For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life" (Jn 3:16"
    But you must repent too. From that time Jesus went about preaching and saying, Let your hearts be turned from sin, for the kingdom of heaven is near. (Matthew 4:17)~
