I’ve a query. I am travelling to Kuala Lumpur from Mumbai. I have a layover of 8.35 hours in Colombo. I have the same carrier airline for the whole journey. Do I need to apply for any visa?
as long as it is a single PNR flight and your remain in the transit hall, no visa is needed.

If I understand you correctly, you are going to transit through Sri Lanka and you have stopover at 3 different ports. As long as you remain inside cruise then no visa is required but if explore a bit then transit visa facility is what you need. actually, there is a lot of confusion in the case of Sri Lanka. They are trying to make some more adjustments.
As there was no update..applied for evisa and got approved in 30 minutes.

if you stay in Sri lanka you will need a visa but if you re at the airport and remain in the transit hall then no visa is needed
Hello. Do you know anything about this? My evisa has been approved however I am not able to download it from the portal because of a system error on their side (I'm pretty sure). They also have not sent an email with my evisa. Do you know how long it takes from applying to receiving your visa documents? Do they send the visa by email?
It is an evisa now should come visa email. Please also check junk, spam folders in your inbox or write to the VFS support. I hope you have not used the old ETA link but that will remain invalid. Also, you must verify what email id you specified because something due to incorrect email this can cause such a problem.
Brother, I applied from Bangladesh , and I didn’t find any option that before 30th april.
So i applied with full payment. I applied for 7 person separately but only 3 visa's was approved and got the approval notice by email as well as the pdf. but other 4 visas they emailed that these 4 was reviewing but didn’t send the approval notice yet.
But when I login to my account which I use for apply , there showing these 4 four also approved. But the matter is that I couldn’t found the download option in my account. What should I do now?

If you apply before April 3Oth the consular fees is O BUT it will have VFS service charge because they have scrapped ETA.
@TRAVELMANTODAY Yes. The online process is taking time as it is the weekend, and our flight is on 23rd April, so can we take a chance of directly going there and taking an on-arrival visa. There will be no problem, right?

VFS ke changes jada hi hote hain example japan visa ka.. Schengen me malta ka. 150euro sirf VFS ka fee seriously

it depends when you applied for it, but since April 17th they have scrapped ETA and issuing evisa
Same I have applied for ETA on 14th April and got approval on 15th April. And am travelling on 23rd may is the older approval valid ? I have also paid USD 41 for two persons.

Yeh question Kai logo ka hai,Aajkal bkk to mumbai flight 9k ki mil Rahi hai jisme Colombo ka layover hai. agar visa cost Dena pad Gaya to overall cost increase ho jayega.
Aap Airlines se poochoge to rules pata chalega, answer yaha bhi update karna , so baki logo ko benefit ho.
brother, agar single PNR ki flight hai to visa ki zaroorat nahi, lenkin. 2 din ke andar transit hai to free hai. To VFS se apply karto ho transit visa- uska option hai, but unke service charge ho sakte hain, agar transit visa avoid karna hai to airport transit hall mein rehna
