The BenQ SW240 monitor is the youngest of BenQ's professional color models. It is inferior to other models of the family both in terms of diagonal and screen resolution - but it can offer a much more humane price with the declared parity in other functionality
Professional monitors with support for wide color gamut and hardware calibration usually cost a lot. How to combine professional characteristics and a relatively affordable price? Of course, first of all, a decrease in the diagonal and screen resolution comes to mind. In the second - the rejection of expensive accessories in the kit.
When the BenQ SW240 was released, both of these methods were used: the screen diagonal of this monitor is a modest 24.1″ for today, the resolution is small 1920 × 1200 pixels, and there is no protective visor in the package (it is offered as a separate accessory, while with already familiar to us monitor of the same BenQ SW320 series, the visor was included).
However, while reducing the size and configuration, a wide color gamut was preserved (100% of the sRGB color space, 99% of the AdobeRGB and 95% of the DCI-P3 coverage were promised) and the ability to record calibration data in the monitor's LUT.
The screen diagonal is 24.1″, which at a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels corresponds to a pixel density of 94 ppi. The maximum brightness is declared at the level of 250 cd/m2, the static contrast ratio is 1000: 1, and the viewing angles are 178 ° in both planes, which are quite typical values for displays made using IPS technology (except, perhaps, for a relatively small maximum brightness).

@@ramaswamyadabala1822 You made a bad choice when buying an ultrawide monitor, as they are not suitable for working with colors at all, but more for gaming or movies. With this monitor I had no problems with color reproduction, lags or other problems.
