I think y'all are missing out on one of Country's greatest treasures. Mr Randy Travis! He is an incredible artist, and I think you would really enjoy his song Three Wooden Crosses.
I can't afford to donate right now. I just lost my Husband of 25 years and am still figuring out what I'm gonna do...but this particular song defines how God works in mysterious ways.
As I'm sure you've come to realize, there aren't many Country songs that don't mention God, church, praying, the Bible, etc ..I do believe it's the closest genre to Gospel without being truly Gospel. It's all about Country life, and that life usually comes with a strong Christian faith, strong family connections, and a lot of hard work.

This was one of his first releases and it didn’t do great but now when folks ‘woke up’ it’s gone multi platinum! It’s fire at his live shows. He’s the real deal. Also, the blond guy in the black cut sleeve boxing is Ernest (Ernest Smith.) He’s one of Morgan’s best friends and cowriters. He’s also toured with Morgan ever since COVID. This song is 3 or 4 Times Platinum. This was Wallen's 1st radio single. It peaked in the 30s on the Country radio charts and also on the Hot Country Songs chart. Wallen sings this on tour as one of his three encore songs. He sang it to a sold-out O2 arena in London, England back in December. And even as old as it is and how different he and his accent is from those at the London show, all the fans screamed every word back at him just as if he'd sung it in East Tennessee.
The skinny guy with the beard getting beat up by the big guy is Ernest K Smith., aka ERNEST, aka Ern who is now a soloist himself and a frequent co-writer with Mo'!
