Irene Louis, thank you so much for showing the finger nail polish marker. I have just started rooting for the first time and let me tell you I caught the devil finding the barb. I am using a 42 gauge and that is quite a small needle, plus I am using human hair. I ordered, a 38 gauge for the human hair, but the problem was not the size of the 42 needle it was me finding the barb continuously.

I just saw this vid for the first time. I can't believe I didn't see it sooner. Painting the needle is such a great idea! Your rooting is so beautiful. You are very talented. I love your work. Have a blessed week.

I can see an accident waiting to happen. You went to get the toothbrush and the scissors were pointing out of the table! Potential ouch! I'm pleased to see you warming the vinyl. Lots of people have told me they use spot lamps which give off high heat but also don't help tired eyes in the evening, and others with a hot wet flannel held on the outside: but that kept having to be re-wet in warm water, one uses a paraffin candle/lamp etc but your way looks good. My first micro rooting is of the Juan toddler so is a massive first job and everyone is telling me to start on a small one, but if I use your idea with the sock full of rice to warm the HUGE head, it will fit in easily, plus the kit is being made of a girl but with quite a horror look about her and so the hair isn't going all over.
