  • How can we use technology as a tool to advance humanity and consciousness?
Technology is neutral and can be used to clutter the mind or to encourage spaciousness. Eckhart suggests being very conscious about your use of technology and maintaining periods of time that are technology-free.

Eckhart Tolle is widely recognized as one of the most original and inspiring spiritual teachers of our time. He travels and teaches throughout the world.
Eckhart is not aligned with any particular religion or tradition, but excludes none. His profound yet simple and practical teachings have helped thousands of people find inner peace, healing and greater fulfillment in their lives. At the core of his teachings lies the transformation of individual and collective human consciousness - a global spiritual awakening.
Eckhart Tolle is the author of The Power of Now, a #1 New York Times Bestseller, which has been translated into 32 languages and become one of the most influential spiritual books of our time.
In his most recent book, A New Earth, he shows how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world.

This is a great topic. I think a lot about the use of technology in spiritual practice. I find the biggest challenge of social media is that it encourages us to believe our opinions are very important.

Yes. And our opinions are reinforced because we look for people who think like us.

Ashley Adams - when you can't stop thinking the addiction to thinking is in control of you. The ego wants to be thinking like a mindless hamster running endlessly on a spinning wheel going nowhere. The true you, the free you, is the enormous silence and electrifying energising universe within you.

Thought really is perverted in the devices man thought has put together, then very subtly man gives himself over to that? It is wonderful that Eckhart knows, or rather is known by that presence which thought can never touch, pervert or corrupt. Wonderful pointers Eckhhart.

Is my communication conscious or reactive? This is key! I have to admit, my responses have often been ‘reactive’. I have been overcome by anger many times and responded out of reaction. It never serves to make me feel better. It always makes me feel worse! And I’m sure this kind of reactive communication makes others feel worse! The commentary on how our relationships have been impacted by cell phones - while it illicits laughter - is really not funny. He is right on - the meaning of being an addict is that you can’t stop! Eckhart was right about this 18 years ago in ‘The Power of Now’. People are laughing - it’s not funny. We have an American president that is addicted to Twitter! He’s 72 and he’s just as addicted as anyone else!

Luciano Unknown I think this is an older video. I was lucky enough to see Eckhart live last year and he looked ok. Not as young as this but not as frail as some of the recent videos. (p.s I agree with you regarding the ET/Sounds True “business” overworking him. He needs to go with the flow, not be put into marketing schemes!)

consciousness's questions answered in the consciousness itself because they are the bone and narrow of consciousness itself.

Consciousness is not something to search for, it simply already exist within each entity.
*(What is confused even by the most awarded scientist, is that the nucleus within the sperm cell and the nucleus within the female egg are actually electromagnetic resonance).
When the two merge, this is called zygote, the formation of one, this is when actual consciousness sparks to life.
One cannot lose consciousness and the multi use of this terminology is abused, thus confused.
Terminology as a tool much like a sharpened rock...
Terminology and Technology is not a gift unless the one’s that are using are aware of the responsibility and the outcome of that use,(within reason due to unseen variables).
We are electromagnetic ephemeral Tellurians, we function due to interfacing with Earth’s electromagnetic core.
This is why human will never leave the perimeter of Earth's torrid.
One must remember, if it is not biological it is not reality...
Ultimately meditation is self observation, this is a metacognitive substratum.
Self observation is the answer to most psychological disengagements.
Being aware of self, and aware of ones idiosyncrasies allowing the individual to make a rational choice.
Without self observation one walks with shaded eyes...
We live here in the now whether one is aware or not,,, reality exists with or without our participation!
Let us concentrate on repairing the planet and our own psyches.
Humans must let go of religiosity and I am not saying that we should give up science altogether, just utilize in a responsible manner, integrity...
Possessions, money, actually have no value other than what we allocate to them because of psychological attachment!!!
Be aware that the mind can cajole self of solace within psychological attachments, be aware of self and how you as an individual induct information.
How one inducts information is dependent on ones emotional cognitive aptitude.
Live NOW!,,, not in hopes of a better day tomorrow.
Let go of expectations, breathe the air, be kind, and love one another.
    LOVE to ALL
    Kallen Vall'Murti

For someone who is awakening at 20 years old I find it hard to pick a career. I have been creating space for something to come to me with no expectation. I am always writing music and feel a pull toward being creative. I am in university but find myself being pulled away from it. How do I know this pull is what I should do? I know on a deep level that anything I do is secondary, but how do I know when my primary and secondary reality have merged or are merging?
