Bahahahaa!! That Just Sew Sherri moment was a classic! My daughter mortified herself in a similar way a few years ago. She worked at an ice cream place, and one item on the menu was ice cream sundaes (she was about 16). One evening, an older gentleman walked up and asked for a sundae. Now, my daughter was supposed to ask, “ would you like whipped cream or nuts with that”? But what came out was, “would you like whipped nuts and cream with that??? He grinned from ear to ear and she shrank back into the store!!! 10 years later, it’s still one of my favorite stories about her! But hey, at least she’s pretty!😂😂😂
Fabulous crafting storage Sherrie. Mine is forever getting 'tidied' as it's old furniture plus holding lots of boxes - some on wheels - and as I've done so many crafts over 50 years despite having times (especially moving a dozen times since marriage!) when I've given away what I wasn't going to have room for or use further it's still overflowing (like the bookcase - I love craft books!😂 - and doesn't fit storage. Finally getting a small craft room I also got a 'Horn' cabinet for my sewing machine and a fabric quilt wall but every other surface (including furniture tops - have to keep my lace pillows somewhere - gets covered😮 It depends what I'm kitting up/working on. It's my space and sanctuary and I'm so thankful to have it all to myself 😊. I keep a clear space when I can or I can't concentrate and I listen to audio books or favourite music CDs!
Yes I have a lot more that’s in boxes for when I have a bigger house so that I have more room to make a mess 🤣 Just looked up those horn cabinets, they are fabulous! I’d love one ☺️
There is nothing better than a dedicated craft space. I enjoyed seeing yours. I have a feeling your picture has been distributed to every repairman in your area as a dangerous, wanton woman! Maybe the disturbed woman sign should be on your front door. 😂
Enjoyed your tour. So many interesting things to see. Snap I have a couple of ‘stuff’ drawers too. You’ve got me in a mission to tidy up. Love love the DMC floss chest.
From across the pond… I love your Sherrie stories and always look forward to your next flosstube. Thank you for the tour. It’s wonderful to see “behind the scenes”!
Thank you Sherrie for sharing you space. I need to be more like you, I just have soo much stuff lol. I realise I HAVE to go to IKEA!! I wish I could organise my cross stitch stuff. I have tried many many time over the years, then I get overwhelmed I'm trying to 'organize' my threads AGAIN, but it seems to be taking an age. I've decided to put all the threads I have on hangers and stitch from there. No threads in project bags or everywhere, well that's the plan lol. Enjoy your weekend. Happy Easter 🐰🐣🤗 P.S you have inspired me to order one of the trays, I've probably go one 'somewhere' lol🤪
What a beautiful room and all the fabric and all the charms and such. Oh your junk journals look so neat. Stitchy witch 42 does them as well, I was lucky enough to win one. Well everything is fantastic in your special spot and lol poor young guy! Lol have fun at the retreat! ❤ hey that was good advice! Lol
This is where the magic happens had me giggling! Love your craft room, I want to get my hands on so many things in there! I don't know why that young lad didn't go in ;) haha!
Love your happy play!! Your stitchy spot is so clean compared to my area. My hubby is painting our extra bedroom to I can make it my craft room. I had it in the bedroom in the basement but just can't do the stairs like I used to. Enjoy your retreat!
Oh my gawd! How tidy is your stuff????!!! I could never do a craft room tour as I can't even turn around in mine lol. Inspiring me to get it a bit tidier but goodness knows where to start lol. Happy Easter!
Great video, love a crafty tour. I'm extremely lucky and have a fully kitted Papercraft room (I make cards) and now I've started to set up a stitchy space in our loft bedroom, I'm determined not to buy as much cross stitch stuff as my Papercraft stash is disgusting, haha 💗
Loved watching, my craft room would never be as neat and tidy, I am what my Mother always called me a clart , my Mum had a place for everything and everything in its place……not me, I’m the most untidiest person, but at least I know I am and hold my hands up, Guilty
That was ‘tidied for telly’ Audrey 🤣 although to be fair I do keep it reasonably tidy or I’d get really stressed especially if I’m actually crafting because soo much stuff comes out and covers every inch of desk top so I have to put it away after or I’d have no room 🤷🏼♀️
Loved the tour I bought the same magnifying lamp from your recommendation on facebook ....also I've just noticed my little table has similar coffee stains!!
Hold on a minute, hold on a minute Cherie!! You can’t just say, “and they’re my clarinet books”, shut the cupboard door and move on!!! As that other Dodd woman who left a comment before (and played clarinet at school and has a Son who’s a musician) I need to know more! 😂😊
🤣🤣 I played at school using a rented one but years later as soon as I could afford it I bought my own and still dabble. I was pretty good in my younger days, not so much now but I still enjoy the odd tune 🎶
@@justsewsherrie That’s brilliant! When I moved to secondary school they didn’t have a clarinet available to use so they gave me a flute to borrow instead! Saved and bought my own in my late 20’s. I still play badly at home when no one else is in.🤫😂
Thank you and yes I use the size 12 perle cotton in cross stitch but also embroidery because that can use a lot more thread and I use the chunkier size 8’s are good for embroidery too ☺️
@@justsewsherrie thank you! I always wondered if Perle cotton size 12 was like Sulky because I like to use one strand, but I stitch on 28ct, 30 or 32, some time on 36. I am a two over two gal. I like my stitches to be chunky, I am not a fan of the primitive sparse look. I will try Perle on a small wip and see if I like it.Thanks again and Happy Stitching!
I enjoyed your tours, both your downstairs cosy stitchy place and your upstairs magic room.
Such great organization❤
Thanks Donna ☺️
You are so organized! I’m jealous ! Love it ! Where the magic happens! 🤣🤣🤣💕💕
Thanks Kim ☺️
Lovely to see wherever magic happens, that made me laugh, poor bloke. 😂
Scarred for life 🤣

It’s an uphill battle staying organised isn’t it 🙈
Ooh, I am very jealous of your craft room. Loved your story at the end - literally laughed out loud!
Thanks Keeley ☺️
What beautiful craft room. I could spend hours looking at all your stuff. Great organizing. Thank you for sharing.
