I always love it when a LPer/streamer goes back and plays retro games. Something very charming and enjoyable about it. After NL's boasts about how great he is at Punch Out it's cool to see him challenge himself.

Having never played the game before, he got to like, the second half of the game's opponents before even seeing a game over screen. You call that bodied?
@@Oxxyjoe dude, I dunno if you're aware of this, but Soda Popinski is the games first like, actually challenging opponent. Everything up until then is a joke. I did it on my first run when I was six. No joke either.

@@iami3rian394 I remember playing this for the first time, around the age of like ten. I also had an issue against glass joe, albeit less of one cuz I just spammed punches and he went down without much hassle. NL on the other hand was expecting him to be trickier or something.
And as for the rest of the opponents, they were all tricky. I didn't notice the little gem blinking on Great Tiger until someone actually told me.. until then I just thought he was an unfair boss. Then, for example, with bald bull, I had no idea there was a counter, so when he did his charging attack it would just result in me losing and having to redo old opponents, only to give up because nobody was there to tell me to hit him in the stomach. Much less to look for a camera-flash in the crowd. Maybe you are just better at pattern recognition than a normie like me lol
IamI3rian I do not believe you beat Soda or Bull on your first try as a six year old. How did you know to counter at the right time on bull?

Here's the best advice you can give. The new HDMI televisions have a significant delay from input to picture. This game is 10x harder with the microsecond delay.
