I saw the first five mins and checked out. I saw first two mins of Dune 2, stopped, and went and bought tickets to see it in theaters. I made a good choice
We expected this to be a movie dedicated to his Legacy as the GOAT of Reggae Music! We were expecting this to line up with Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman but, it was like a short film with glimpses of his life that did NOT flow from one scene to the next ! This was an EMBARRASSING PRODUCTION to all who were involved! They should have outsourced much needed HELP from other Movie Director/ Producers etc .... who actually could make a Movie .
The movie was good, and the music was great, but they could've put way more details on that movie, like more of his childhood and his last days. The movie kinda felt rushed to me. As a huge fan of Bob Marley , I rather watch a 2 hour documentary About him
@@ajackassofalltrades that's your opinion there is nothing wrong with it the shit talking is unnecessary It's a movie we're not going to be in a time machine to look at his life Second by second It's a movie calm down
This movie is super one sided... It focussed on the period before he did the concert that ended the political empass but didn't bother about Bobs womanizing nature... Few instances of his Wailers past... No mention of his actual discussion with the political class... The Marley kids whitewashed his past... Didn't change my mind about Bobs music
@@blacksquirrelhomestead then again... Why talk about the African tour without mentioning the song... Zimbabwe... Which he wrote out of his disdain for the white man
@@acholaaloys7137 "Zimbabwe" was on a different album, Survival. The movie focuses on the songs from the Exodus album, which came out 2 years before Survival.
@@KenpoKid77 naaah fam... This movie didnt even have a consistent rota for the songs featured... They had rastaman vibration, exodus, catch a fire, wailing Wailers... Exodus was the focus since he was in exile and it sold the most

You chose…wisely!

Just watched it a few hours ago ...yeah I agree 100 percent with you 😢
The movie was outstanding from a huge Marley Fan go for your self and then you judge 😉

We watched it last night. My biggest complaint was that I could not understand the words they were saying 1\2 the time.
It may be more palatable as a watch at home with the subtitles on!

They speak English but it's a different accent ppl now days

@@Goat-o4nI know but it's very different than what I speak 😊 there were a few scenes I struggled with, but I still understood most of it.
The movie was great to me. I never knew why he left Jamaica. And it literally says in the beginning what part of his life it focuses on.
True.
The movie was surface level
I don’t care it if didn’t ignite your love for his music and his message it wasn’t for you
❤ agreed

There were a couple of things about him being a womanizer, but that's because his family was highly involved in the making of it.
