I have a Dahua POE NVR, I am connecting it it a HIKVISION POE camera. The NVR is failing to power it up. If I connect the power plug to the camera, than it will work. Do you know why the NVR is not powering up the camera?

you have to change protocol , probably hikvision protocol is default

You didn't configure the "integration protocol" settings in the Camera!!
They are located in Network > Advanced Settings > Integration Protocol. Enable ONVIF & Hikvision-CGI, change authorisation to Digest/Basic, then Create an ONVIF User Profile click save. Use this Profile as the username/password when Manually Adding Camera to the NVR
