+John Britton No that is not true at all! Yes there are some people that do that protesting at funerals of soldiers and stuff like that but they do not stand for all of us. They are wrong and filled with hatred. And that NOT what the bible teaches. So please do not judge us all by them!

I almost cried! That is exactly how my grandma used to remind me that I needed to be saved by Jesus, and that I could have to decide if I wanted to spend an eternity in the presence of my Lord and Savior!
Went to see it and my husband and I were ministered to. Afterwards we talked about how we should not look at each other as the problem and who the enemy really is, and how we need to support what we've been taught in the Word with a stronger prayer life in our prayer closer . Powerful movie and we plan to see it again before it leaves the theater.

This is one of my favorite parts of this movie . Every time I see Mrs Clara's face blowing the coffee , I get so tickled . I really appreciate how she delivered the lesson .

OMG THAT'S WHAT THE SCENE WAS ABOUT?!? IT WAS SO SUBTLE IT WENT STRAIGHT OVER MY HEAD!!!
It doesn't make sense though Nathan. God is ok with people who never pray and who pray all the time but not people who pray occasionally?
What's wrong with being somewhere in the middle?

But even though it takes a little more dedication to receive a medal for the race it's rewards are wonderful and a great feeling. It effects every aspect of your life in such a positive way. As Christians we want others to experience it instead of just being Luke warm it is an amazing Blessing.

But Billy, faith is not a competition. It's not about a reward at the end. If you want to have a goal, that's fine. But don't demean people for seeing faith as it's own reward or for not showing it more just to please.
I'm not saying you are, but this film is doing that in this scene.
I'm sure it is a wonderful blessing to have a relationship with God. But it's not right to tell someone that their relationship is bad just because it's different from yours.

this is a powerful movie that rearranges every life of soul that is humble enough.
when something is hot, you can determine it's hot, if it's cold you can determine that it's cold, but you cannot determine which way lukewarm is going. hot and iced coffee is good, hot and iced tea is good, but lukewarm makes you gag.
Yes be either hot or cold. Cold water is refreshing, hot is good for cleansing, but lukewarm....ehhhh

I congrat to all cast and crew for this excellent movie. It was awesome for me to see how the Kendrick brothers have been developing as filmmakers. I`ve been following their work and it`s getting better. The message is there, the way that they convey it is wonderfull and it is richly in all aspects. All Actors and Actresses were excellent but miss Clara (Karen Abercrombie) was simply outstanding. We kinda needed a good adviser like her with seriousness and humour at the same time. That lady kindled my heart and made me laugh in a way my neighbors could hear me (loool). Congrat to all :)By the way, Winter, Summer whatever i like my coffee HOTT!!!

My women's ministry group at my church were having a movie night several weeks ago, & we watched this movie. So good! It also inspired me to pray more. I confessed I haven't pray as much as I should have beforehand. I've been saved since I was 23-years-old, I'm 32 now. Yet, like any normal Christian, there is still some sin in my life that I struggle with, lack of prayer being one of them. Yet this film was a beautiful reminder of Ephesians 6:12, "For our struggle is not against flesh & blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Yes, it's easy to badmouth people (especially love ones) who have hurt us &/or wronged us in the worse ways possible
But at the end of the day, badmouthing these people won't get us anywhere. God's word clearly states that we are INSTEAD to PRAY for these people. We are to keep in mind that He is STILL in control, no matter How Tough or Challenging life gets. ❤️🙏✝️💒
It was very bold of the director to not give any direction throughout this movie.
