Metal curlers, rollers, and rods were very popular in the 1940's and 1950's. These metal hair curlers and perm rods were made by several companies, including Tip Tip and Goody. Carmen uses a variety of these metal rollers in Kat's hair.

I wish I could find a hairstylist who'll do vintage! Every place I go to the stylist says I'm lucky to have waves but they try to give me one of those blow-dried news anchor helmets.
