nice video, Did you use lighting or just a large aperture lens, like the f1.8? i am about to buy a sony a7 3, because the gh5 is said to suck in low light. There is also the GH5 Mark 2 which has just been released, you advise me which one, GH5 mark 2 with an f1.7 lens or the sony A7iii because it has a full frame sensor, for filming weddings. Thank you. Thank you. I use a bit of both. Lighting is needed for the reception. The GH5 does a rough job in low light, but no matter the camera, lighting is important to shape the shadows. I like the GH5 for the 10-bit and for the 60fps. But ultimately for the stabilization. I could have handheld most of this wedding and gotten nearly the same results. It all depends on your shooting style.
This is 🔥 I’m looking to get the zhiyun weebil s and the lumix 12-35mm for my gh5 setup. We’re they used a lot in making this wedding video or would you recommend something else.
I'm pretty sure 90% of the film that's what I was using. It's my safe set up. The Depth of Field isn't as great as some other lenses, but that's really depending on how nit picky you want to be. What I can say though, is the combination is fast and smooth. I can gather so much great looking b-roll in a small amount of time because of the IBIS in the camera, the OIS in the lens, and the Gimbal itself. Tip though, put a small Quick release plate on your gimbal and balance it with the lens at 25mm. Then its good to zoom in and out without messing up the balance too much and you can quickly take it off the gimbal if you need to.
Off the top of my head I don’t remember the numbers. But I did crop afterwards. I usually start with a letterbox overlay and then I export with those pixels removed so that I don’t run into fuzzy edges or pixelation in the letterbox
Very cool. Grate shots. What picture profiles you have used if I can ask? I’ve just upgraded my toolbox with GH5 and made settings for portrait picture profile (just like with my EOS R) but I’m not 100 % sure if this would provide same image quality like EOS R. All suggestions much appreciated.
Hello! I used a custom color profile to start. It starts as natural and I bring down the contrast and the saturation just a little bit. Then I grade from there.
I always bring another camera to capture a wide of the ceremony and a second angle of the toasts, however, about 97% of what you're seeing here is one camera.

Great job 👍🏾
Great work. This is 🔥
Thank you!
I just started shooting and editing and this video makes mine look like Ben Wyatt’s claymation video from Parks and Rec.
We all start somewhere! Go look at some of my older work. Everything just takes time and patience!
Great work. On which color profile this was shot?Natural ? CineD?...
Thank you! It was a custom version of the natural. The contrast and saturation were slightly lower. Then it was graded from there.

what is the aspect ratio of the video with the black banding or crop top and bottom? Did you shoot in 4k and then crop?
