    Just did mine today...totally worth it...10 hours and I love the way it turned out! Thanks so much sweetpea! And for anyone who’s curious, I used about 6 bags of Freetress Bohemian braid for about 90 braids, 3 and 4 strands of hair for each twist and thats a full head for my average size head...hope that helps....

      JaiStew For the life of me, I cant do the twist this young lady does to my own hair (try as I might!). I did each twist as I personally would with Marley hair with my current natural length. I braided the hair into my own (my hair is only about 2 inches long these days due to short hair cuts) and since the start of the braid only went an inch or so, it is easily camo’d in the twist. I then just twisted accordingly. And since my own hair is so short, I also secured my braids with small black rubber bands at the top of the braid. Since my braids are black (1B), the bands are also easily camo’d into my hair. I just did what works for me and I am very happy with the results! Good luck to you with yours! 😊✌🏾

      @TheCRYSTALLURE 5 років тому +35

      Hydraulic55 lowkey she can. If someone comes up with a certain style. And has a name for it. It’s known by that person forever. Just like people who came up with electricity, chairs, hot combs, pencils, shit even types of hair (3abc/4abc etc....) happens with phrases and stuff too. People can even do copyright on the dumbest shit and have it only be theirs so she can trademark a style. But we weren’t even trying to be that deep with it just make it known she came up with the style/name...period.

      Nicole Kemp from the looks of she's twisting like Senegalese twist where she twist each strand b4 twisting it together. It reduces frizz , and give a stretch out curl look.

    • @LoveAddyTube
      @LoveAddyTube 5 років тому +25

      I was thinking the same thing. I was hoping she was going to do it on her own hair and I was disappointed that she did it on straight hair 😢.. This hair style is so bomb I hope she does a video of her doing this style on 4 type hair, because I'm skeptical about trying it out on my 4 type hair

    • @Lola-cw7yo
      @Lola-cw7yo 5 років тому +36

      Well don’t you blow dry your hair any way before getting it braided? It’ll be straight then.

    • @RiaFinetteTV
      @RiaFinetteTV 5 років тому +3

      @@LoveAddyTube I was thinking the same thing, too. Idk..maybe for type 4 hair (like me) I'd use either an ege control as well. I say that because I've done hairstyles on myself using edge control and it stayed

    On instagram you said 9 or 10 packs were used for this look but on here you said 8 for full look. Which amount to achieve this look and length? Thanks!

    • @5683brit
      @5683brit 5 років тому +2

      Ally Noel pretty sure it just depends on what you yourself wants. This person probably wanted the twists to be this size. So for this look you would need 8... But if you notice when she does the style on herself, hers are actually larger and look more full.... So if you want her fullness then you need the 9-10 packs. But again i would say it's personal preference too.

    • @funnybunn1
      @funnybunn1 5 років тому +2

      I used 8.5 ... two strands for each twist. This shit is TOOOOO full for my liking and not heavy but definitely some WEIGHT to it. I have short 4b/4c hair ... not an ideal style for it
