That said I started on trumpet age 8 piano.also age 8 moved to euphonium age 12 added in trombone didn't like it stuck with euphonium tried tuba but exactly as I said here hard to.fill the instrument all the time
Plus euphonium has the largest range and has the nice warm sound

Just play 3rd/4th bone on any jazz chart, best on is On The Sunny Side of The Street. Tough but doable. I played Tuba in jazz band for a while year

I'm tubist too. I'm Haapaniemi school orchestra (Kuopio, Finland) (3-class) i'm 10 years old and I have studiet english only half year, so sorry To my english :)
for those that dont know the tuba part for this is incredibly difficult, fast tounge, at least an octave jump inbetween triplets/16th notes. also she went higher than the trombone many times, much higher in fact. respect from a fellow tubist!
