Oh Becky! Love your videos! Never stop making them. Love your book recommendations too. Those cheesy knitting titled books are so fun and your sense of humor always make me laugh. And your knitting is lovely.❤❤❤
Hello. I just found you and I’m watching all of your videos from the beginning. That’s the reason for a comment in July’24 on a video from snowy February’23. I’m loving watching your family play in the snow! ⛄️I’m thinking your dog is having the most fun!! Thank you for a wonderful podcast.
It’s alway such great fun spending time with you Becky! A knitting related cozy mystery series I love is The Vampire Knitting Club by Nancy Warren, if you’d like to check it out. I’m also very glad that you’ve decided to knit a second mitt rather than cutting her hand off. Definitely much easier to do! 😂
Thanks so much for hanging out with me and being so supportive, Mia! And thank you for the book recommendation. I always look forward to your newest episode!❤️
Oh my goodness I have never laughed so much! Those book titles…I had to pause the podcast to go and order the first two. Thanks so much for sharing, a few of us in England will be joining in the reading fun. 🤎🧶 📖
Your eps always leave me wanting more Becky!! You are so funny, and definitely have my kind of humour - I laughed out loud often enough during this one that I was concerned my family would come to see what was going on. I love the moth knit for your DIL - she is lucky she’ll be able to use both hands, and not have to keep one tucked in her pocket as she goes about doing stuff. Btw - I love the distinction of you “don’t cashmere-love Jason, you Berocco-love Jason. You cashmere-love Todd.” 😂😂 but such a great worthiness scale!! 😂😂😂
Your book reviews had me cackling! Out of curiosity, I searched Audible and they have a series called "A Knitty Kitties Mystery" by Tracey Drew. Titles include "Knitted and Knifed," "Purled and Poisoned," "Hanks and a Hitman," "Striped and Strangled," and "Slip Stitched and Slayed." I think I know my next reads!
I’ll join your knitting Gen X gang! “Gag me with a spoon!”🤣 I also loved when you said you have to knit a second mitt because she has two hands! Love your sense of humor. How great to knit a moth into something wooly! I wonder if that acts as a talisman to ward away moths? Hmmm . . .
😂😆 Oh my gosh Becky where do I start?! I guess I’ll begin by saying “DUDE! Your projects are GNARLY TO THE MAX!” The Vertices Unite on Ironman is absolutely genius. I think my Blythe dolls will all need Stephen West mini shawls!! I do hope he will be included in your FO photoshoot 🎉 Matchy! I am now interested in this knitting/mystery book genre. Or perhaps just the titles…SSK 🔪🩸 That’s even better than fish puns! Thank you so much for these wonderful episodes - the best 28mins of my day. Actually 56mins as I may have watched it twice.
Aww, Leanne, you bodacious babe!! Thank you for spending your time with me! That’s the ultimate compliment. I would love to see you make tiny Vertices Unite shawls!😂 ❤
So fun to catch up with you Becky! LOVE your beginning vlog (we sadly have no snow so I enjoyed the virtual snow through the screen...). Beautiful loaves of bread. Completely agree with you on the practicality of choosing appropriate fibers for the recipient so they can use the item without worry about ruining it (or actually ruining it!!). I literally laughed out loud when you talked about Jason's cashmere hat - I will gift knit with luxury fibers for a very select few in my life!! Your vertices unite is so cute - I kept thinking it would look great on the little bird behind you. Thank you for the share and tell!! Take care~Stephanie
ALL of what you knit … I want to knit. Your knits are just so great. Hats…Mitts… shawl ( love the character displayed). I still have some Mutent Ninja Teenage Turtles around here somewhere. Vertices Unite is on my quene…. Have got to knit that. I have read some books related to knitters and adore. Let us know if you do a KAL to the pattern within the book…. Sounds fun. Great sledding Hills’s in intro. You are so much fun. Thank you for today. Oh… Agave top looks so good. I as well like your idea for the multi colored rib in sweater.
Thank you so much, Cindy! I think Donatello woud look especially dashing in a Vertices Unite 😂. I think we will have to do a knit/read/bake along! More info to come!👏🏼
You mentioned my two favorite knitting podcasts, The Knitty Stew and A Friend to Knit With, so I know I am going to like all your episodes too. Leanne and Leslie are my very favorite knitters and I have learned a lot from them. So glad I found your channel!
Thank you for taking me along on your amazing journey ❤ I learned so much. As a new knitter I try to find Podcasts that can speak to why they selected yarns that will be $ and user friendly. Love the idea for a mystery book/knit along. 🎉
I have read so many of the Maggie Sefton books and enjoyed them. Same with the seaside Knitters book series. Those books follow on each other as you follow the characters’ lives from book to book. Maggie’s books do too. Bear that in mind as you buy new titles. Maggie’s book series started so long ago that it was all about the fuzzy funky yarn. Started reading these after that craze was over so it took a few books before they finally put down the fuzz. Sally’s books are more serious in nature where Maggie’s are more lighthearted. Both very good.
Just found you and subscribed right away. Love the colors for your Stephen West shawl even though I am not a fan of the pattern. BTW, your hair is to die for.
Great episode Becky! Love the lambing mitts, the color looks so pretty. I’m totally in for the mystery book, knit and cook along, just ordered the first 2 of the series. I just love your sense of humor and would so love to join your Gen X gang.😂
I started listening to Knit One, Kill Two since you talked about it. It’s kind of addicting lol. I don’t usually read mystery books, maybe I need to start.
Your shift cowl is beautiful, Becky! I love a good mystery, those books sound fun. Your Agave is going to be so pretty on you. Thanks for the giggles. 🌻
Love your podcasts and sense of humor. You had me giggling so much in this one! Also, your winglet mitts are so pretty! I’m definitely saving that pattern for some gift knits this year. Right now I’m knitting on the April cardigan and the Vervain socks by Sachiko Burgin.
I really enjoyed Maggie Sefton’s book series. I was able to check most of them if not all out of my libraries digital collection. Enjoy the read. Have you read any books by Monica Ferries? The first one being Crewel World? ❤❤❤
I read the series. Went to my yarn shop, tried to talk a few friends to play. Someone had to kill another and I would figure out who done it!😂 party poopers wouldn’t play. SSK love it! You are definitely my people!
The peace fleece yarn looks really beautiful. I put up with scratchiness just because rustic yarn is so beautiful. I was wearing my itchy homespun rustic socks yesterday! Lol I think they itch less the more you wear it. Not sure if the prickles calm down or I just get desensitized.
Becky! This episode was the best. Not only have I learned how dashing superheroes look in knitwear, but also got to know your generosity toward your daughter in law. Instead of cutting her second hand off you are going to knit another mitten. haha I was having so much fun. And then the book series. How cool is that? I even found some of the books over here in germany, where I live. I was laughing so hard when I found out Maggie Sefton had written a book named "Fleece Navidad" ... Love it. I guess I am spending the next years reading through a big pile of knitting murder mysteries and cooking loads of delicious receipes. Thank you for filling me up with joy today! I needed this so much. Love your podcast. Please never stop.
Fleece Navidad!😂😂 That’s hilarious. Thank you so much for watching, Mirjam! You’re always so kind to me. ❤ I think we will have to do a knit/bake/read along 😂
You make me smile so much! Loved the knitting group focus group, totally what happened. Also love Hannah's podcast. Happy Knitting Becky you lovely human. xxx
Wonderful video!! I love the tiny Iron Man Shawl😂 and I did squeal!!! I love me some silly shenanigans so I am n for all the things - reading the mystery, knitting the shell and making the delicious recipe! 🎉❤😊. You should make it a make along ❤❤❤ thanks for a great start to my weekend, Becky!
I love your book find, lol! My little group of fiber friends from the internet read together a different book every month and are always on the lookout for a cozy mystery, knitting in it is a plus. We finished one in December (or November, I can't remember) called The Vampire Knitting Club that was a hoot. I'll have to mention your find (and podcast) to the gang, it sounds adorable and hilarious. Thanks for the update, the cabled hat is really looking great!

😂😂 yes to all the cheesy book titles, also I want to be in that knitting circle 😊 Um can all the GenX ladies just be cool with the fact that we did NOT grow up showing our bras or tummies 😅 so yeah, still to this day I’m not a fan of deep arm holes that show my bra, whereas my daughters could care less (however if I’m buying that top for them it will be covering the bra ) 😂
Oh Becky! Love your videos! Never stop making them. Love your book recommendations too. Those cheesy knitting titled books are so fun and your sense of humor always make me laugh. And your knitting is lovely.❤❤❤

Thanks Becky, so fun. Look forward to the book reviews but it wouldn't matter really, worth it just for the titles.
😂❤
I enjoy Maggie Seftons book series. Beautiful knits! Thrift books is a great source. Betty Hetchman (crochet themed mysteries) is my favorite though.
Thank you so much, Evelyn! I’ll have to check out your book recommendation! Thanks for spending time with me!❤
