Omg my dream is to have an at home business to practice my advanced learning ! I feel like working at a spa you’ll only allowed to do basic facial services like I’m trying to practice my craft to be like Nerida Joy or Renee Rouleau some day! How did you budget to get start up equipment? What tips do you have for new esties to build their clientele/portfolio? What did you benefit you had by going Solo ?

Are you starting with manual facials or is there any hand held machines that u r using and can suggest me. I saw led face mask . Do U think it is effective.
I don't have any fancy equipments yet since they are a huge investment. Yes the LED light is super effective to treat specific skin concerns

I like it I’m also an Esthetician I work in a spa and also do mobile services but sometimes if some clients come to my house I only allow that if they’re referred by a friend or a client I don’t feel comfortable having strangers coming to my home because theirs a lot of crazy people out there. So my question is how do you manage to get clients? for example I have a google account where I share some videos and photos of the services that I provide but I don’t put my address because I’m scared 😟 of random people that’s why I’m trying to find an affordable place to rent a booth. So can you share how you manage to get clients? I’m sure we all take precautions to put our address online. Do you have a business license and does the clients have to file an intake form with protocol before you start any treatments because I know some treatments are contraindicated for some people. I hope I don’t ask too many questions I’m just that type I love asking questions 😁 I hope you don’t mind. Are you partnered with eminence or do you just purchase and use what you need? Im a single esthetician as well and I looked into partnering them and its about 4500 starting for all backbar and retail ( which would be way too much product for me to use up ) so I was thinking about just purchasing what I want from Dermstore or another site to use on clients. Curious what you do! Also where did you purchase your towel warmer? I haven't seen one like that anywhere. Thanks!

Does your state not require you to display your esthetician license ? I am really wanting to work from my home, but without installing additional home entrances and sinks etc I would be in violation and could be shut down. Just wondering what state youre from and how your laws different from ours.
