What an amazing story, thank you for sharing. Also a huge thank you to all the people who have supported Harrison on his life journey. I cried when he was given the job at his school. There are so many other bright young people out there on the spectrum that could also excel, if only given the opportunity ❤️

I love this documentary! Exactly what we on the spectrum need for our adult and later lives.
What a lovely family, what nice people around them and what hope it is giving to all on the spectrum!
Sadly, Tim Fischer passed away in 2019. May he R.I.P. and may his family always have him watch over them.

What a charming polite young man, I would be very proud if he was my son. Nice family all around. I do wonder that although Tim would have fought against his disease hard that he felt he could slip away in peace with the knowledge that Harrison was going to be ok without him ?

I wonder how much these People need for their care & quality life for the rest of there lives. I'd imagine it be mid to high 6 figures.
This is only for care & living, not anything else. Which of course they deserve that but that would take the payout into millions.

    "we are all mad here"
No one knows this better than someone with Autism. We don't make a lot of sense from their perspective.

God bless you and your family Tim, you have done so much for this country, it's a pitty that it's dirty politics now and this country has gone backwards. Once again God bless you.

    G'day.
    Yay Team !
As a long-term Green Voter in New England/Northern Tablelands, I've always had a liking and admiration for Timmy of the Fischer Tribe.
As a time-expired Registered General Nurse, I wish him good luck with resisting AML.
As a Disability Pensioner who pays the Rates on a 100 Acre Endangered Species Sanctuary, I applaud Harrison's determination to find his place in Society.
As the Freelance Low-Speed Aerodynamics-Consultant who donated the Research on 500 Aerotow-Launches of Hang Gliders behind 3-Axis Ultralights, which resulted in CASA mandating the use of "The Lockout Index"..., as "Mandatory Industry Standard for all Aerotow Training Operations" in 1997 (with the deletion of the word "Training" from the amended Directive in 1999, after the death of the Prissydunce of the Calloundra Hang Gliding Club.....)...; I point out that while Harrison is paying Taxes & he has a Job...., Australia is capable of pensioning-off Oddballs & thus permitting them to be productive in their own time.
John Howard proclaimed the "Mutual Obligation Hypothesis"..., and according to Centrink, the DSP which they pay me ($22,000 per annum) when compared to the Lockout Index having prevented 10 Take-Off Crashes per year since 1997 (comprising 1 Fatal, 2 High-Quadriplegiacs, 3 Paraplegiacs in Wheelchairs, plus 4 cashed-up Yuppies who're too fractured to work or pay Tax for 2 years each..., on average) then based on Supreme-Court Damages Claims for Accident/Negligence Claims, plus the Dep't of Roads & Maritime Services Estimation of the Economic Cost of an Average Australian dying on the Roads....
Centrelink concludes that, by preventing $31 million worth of broken paralysed & composting Yuppies every year, for 21 consecutive years & ongoing...; therefore I'm considered the most productive "Unemployable Disabled FrootLuip on the Australian Continent....".
To "Fact-Check" this perspective, title-search YT, for
"Aerotow-Launching Rogallo Hang-Gliders ; Development & Implementation Of The Lockout Index..."
Johnny (Coward) with his "Mutual Obligation Hypothesis", invoking therein...,
    "To Each..., According To Their Needs...;
From Each..., According To Their Abilities..."
has clearly branded himself as a MARXIST.
While attempting to wrap himself in Self-ish narrowminded Calvinist Colours...
If Tim Fischer had have been relying on his own Resources with which to educate (& find a Role in Life for) his Autistic Son...; then Harrison would've Bin-Lucky to have finished-up sweeping up Sheepshit in a Shearing-Shed..., but because of Oz's Socialist Egalitarian LABOR/GREENS Party Values & Policies... Harrison has therefore Bin-Assisted to have the chance to reach his full potential.
And, poor olde Timmy is so happy to see his "Puddled Kid..." taking an interest in PolyDicks that he doesn't mind that the Politics which appeal to the young Autistic Fischer are those of the Labor Party.
    "Truth WILL Out...,
    Truth Will OUT...!"
    To paraphrase Geoffery Chaucer.
(in the 'Nonnes' Prieste's Tale...', from "The Canterbury Tales"....".
    Such Is Life.
    Lessons, herewithin,
    To be pondered...
    Take it easy,
    Such Is Life...
    ;-p
    Ciao !
