- So, I got nearly 500 votes on my poll asking which singer should I make my next Disney Song Battle on and voila! It was Broadway superstar and the voice of VARIAN from Tangled's TV Series - JEREMY JORDAN who won by around 45% of the total votes!

Here's my second Disney Song Battle, divided into 8 rounds this time (And once again, I tried to include as many LIVE performances of the original singers since ALL of Jeremy's renditions were done LIVE).

one thing i’ve noticed when he sings is that he does a lot of purposeful voice cracks. Especially with emotional songs. I think it adds emotion to the song and i REALLY like that singing choice!!! I’ll definitely try it out

I can't say Jeremy beats the original voices bc the originals are so iconic, I hear the songs and the characters in their voices. But Jeremy sure does sing amazingly and he needs to originate his own roles so I'll hear them in his voice!

Ive encountered his singing twice he voiced Light Yagami in Deathnote the Musical and he voices Varain who sings Let Me Make you Proud, and Ready as I'll Ever Be. He has a lot of other roles too.

Love it, except for Lin. Maybe not a popular opinion but while he is an AMAZING composer and an even better lyricist, he is such a bad singer. See Hurricane. So many people could have done much better, and while his acting is fine, he just can’t sing ballads to save his life. Yes he can get away with being a solid rapper, but as soon as you hit a ballad it’s out the window.
Nothing but respect for your opinion and I truly do get the appeal, but that’s just me. Get him to write/arrange for the other three though, and you’ve got something amazing on your hands. Maybe throw in Brian Stokes Mitchell to keep with the male cast, and if you’re into it throw in some women (Stephanie J Block, Eva Noblezada, Lea Michele?)

@@aiyagilliam9930 sorry, I rarely have been on Broadway. While I've seen lots of tours, ive been to Broadway itself only about 6 times. And London West End once to see a couple of shows. My sister, on the other hand, lives in Mass so she normally sees shows on Broadway itself.
As for the national road tour of Newsies, I haven't seen it. Last show I saw was Frozen at the St James theatre in NYC.

I grew up on Disney. I lived and breathed Disney and never grew out of the phase and after twenty-something years of being willing to fight to the death for the original songs, Jeremy Jordan wins every time. Hands down. And he does so seemingly effortlessly. How he is not a prince by now is astounding.

I have adored Jeremy since his time on Smash. He is an excredibke singer. He doesn't outdo the original singers because of how iconic they are but he is certainly the next best. Jeremy is an incredible singer and actor. He can play any role amazingly. His voice is so expressive. I'll watch anything that he is in. I'm a huge fan.

It's really hard to compare these -- Jeremy's style is different when he's just doing a concert than it would be if he were actually playing the role. He is amazing -- my favorite current singer by far!

I discovered him thanks to Tangled the series as Varian and I fell in love with his voice, his songs in the series are my favorites! And I wished so much to be able to hear him sing in a new project, so I got so excited when I discovered he would give his voice to Lucifer in Hazbin Hotel, and it didn't disappointed me, I love d his acting and the songs were amazing! I can't wait to see more of him in the next seasons!

I LOVE the cry & delicacy of Jeremy’s voice in moments when he’s singing, it makes me cry & then when he hits those big power notes, I’m just blown away. I don’t think there’s anything he can’t sing. He is truly a gift. I love him & I’m a huge fan.
