being a certified Structural Engineer i would suggest to prefer this method only when certain criteria are met. 1) load bearing structure not more than 2 storey 2) low ground water level 3) hard bed rock available and not in clay/sandy soil. 4) not for earthquake prone zone 5) prefer light weight brick( hollow or AAC ) and roofing materials like GI/asbestos sheet especially if one wishes for 2 Storey. Rest all is fine, Go save some bucks.
It is ok in places flood free areas. Even 2 storyed houses can be made, in places of less than 100 inches rain fall. It is great if the occupant themselves do the work. Best wishes and good luck!

I am from Chile, one of the most seismic countries in the world. this video scares me, because it is very wrong in its construction. There are even much cheaper and anti-seismic ways to build (wood, superadobe, "quincha" system with earth, etc.)
I would thought they are aware of this..they want to cut costs hence quality is compromised..for a single storey building may be okay..but anything higher than 1 storey may pose problem to the occupants in the long run..good luck to them..
Building houses in this way has become very old, now even poverty line houses are not built in this way, all the houses are being built on beams and columns. Which are also earthquake resistant.
Bonnes fondations pour dans le désert certe par contre chez nous la brique ça absorbe l'eau et qd il gèle en hiver a moins de 1,50 de profondeur ça petera comme du verre !

I laid foundation for my house with stones & mortar some 4 feet deep & 18-24 inches thick coming 2 ft above ground & then dpc. 30 years on, no cracks. 🇵🇰 Is it technically correct yet?
They would be real wealthy on my site 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. No expense spared either ( no tape , no level , no bloody boots even . But what do I know ? Is this why we are short of housing in the uk ? Because we worry about foundations and structural stability?
It is good way of construction of house according to my own experience
Wonderful Work Good

100X stronger than a typical amerikan wooden home ❤️
RAMAN
True, not the best foundation but still stronger than an American home.
I like watching people in other countries do construction it gives me A new perspective very good

You are absolutely right. 🙏
Yup, most old buildings of India are load bearing and have stood the test of time.
In my village all the houses are built this way , I'm also building ..
Wow it easy

It's costly....use stones only .. foundation don't use bricks..it's not. Safe..stones is best..congretes idea is good

this is not low cost ,but waste of money ,we shount not use bricks in ground they absorve water ,allways use rocks and stones in ground

Correct, useless technology.
Hi super ok
Where u have constructed this type of foundation whether this will be two storied three storied building can be weight loading?
Nice idea. This can withstand upto 2 storeys for poor people I'm india where the seismic is less than 4 normally. Strong bricks. Thanks bro.
Good work #okcivil
E essa fundação vira uma casa maravilhosa que dura 2.000 anos.

I agree with you, but we indians build strong building with cost efficient technique & available material on site
So technically it saves cost
True
Good job.....

In desert area this technique one can apply without thinking one second.
True
Concrete is much cheaper. But good job

Amazing work. Lovely to watch 🙏🙏
This is wrong way to construct foundation. Foundation is most important structure where whole building stays.
I would thought they are aware of this..they want to cut costs hence quality is compromised..for a single storey building may be okay..but anything higher than 1 storey may pose problem to the occupants in the long run..good luck to them..
Right it is quite wrong way... Foundation work should be up to mark no compromise at this foundation level
@@iyasahja5353 க
They are hut making
Don't do cost cutting in foundation 😂😂😂
Good job
Its better without background music,,,
Old type of brick foundation still used in villages.
Nice vedio 👌🥰🥰🥰
Pouring 100 - 150 mm thick concrete to the foundation with some steel bars is faster, cheaper, and stronger. It depends.

Very good foundation and very finishing work good brik. Sir fine
Тока кирпич good, остальное устоявшиеся правила и привычки
Всяко лучше чем хижина или землянка. Да и грунт не промерзает

Wow I would say it’s much more less inexpensive to pour concrete from a ready mix truck
Euryf
Depends on the place
Haha. Ready mix point.1000km away.
" I would say it’s much more less expensive to pour concrete"
I would say you need to price bricks vs concrete.
बहुत ही अच्छा समझाया
Цемент и бетон босыми ногами.

बहुत अच्छा काम

Bhut acha video
This is not low-cost foundation
Instead of this 100mm thick PCC then 9"×9" RCC beam is best
What is PCC and what is RCC please?
Completely wrong material for foundation.
Brick 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Waste of time and money.

Working with flip flops! I wondered how many foundations your feet last?😂😂
Stons are durable instead of break for foundation
Very nice video
If only we didn't have so many code building regulations here in the US
That's why India has 1.2 billion people. Too much freedom.
If there was no code in the USA, then we have shit buildings here like this one in the video.
