Received them yesterday. Nice. The stock tips pressed into the bend in my left ear canal somewhat fierce, but with other cheap shorter tips that i have a whole bag of, it's alright. The sound is exactly as you describe it, it doesn't have much midbass emphasis and a strong, slightly one-note-leaning sub-bass kick, and are very tolerable if not perfectly smooth across the rest of the range, with an odd little shout and some sibilant emphasis, but it's not too distracting. Distortion at normal listening volume doesn't seem to be anyhow bad. This was the perfect entry point for me. The fit in the ears is very borderline, anything bigger would be no-go, but they fit, so i guess i can go try others with the same ear-facing shell shape.
These IEMs look pretty damn premium for the price! Not only that, but these super cheap IEMs come with a detachable cable, a feature that is very rare on IEMs of this price range. It's unfortunately not a very useful feature to have when IEMs are priced this low because many IEM cables cost more than the IEMs themselves. I've seen a lot of super cheap IEMs on Ebay, almost none of them look this premium. It's pretty amazing how far budget IEMs have gone in the past few years. Not only in terms of sound, but also in the presentation. Years back, you wouldn't find any decent IEMs for 10 US dollars, the best you could get was a very dodgy looking pair of Chinese earphones made with parts that came from a reject bin.
Thanks for the review.if u still remember the sound signature of these please let me know how much would u rate these in terms of bass ,mids, treble and sound stage out of 10.
There seems to be some unit variance but my pair have some boosted upper mids and they are lean on the bass but I have seen other impressions that don't match mine.

Hi, please question and advise I was looking to buy KZ ZAX earphone, and asked him which one is better KZ ZAX OR CCA CA16 or KZ AS12 ? but one advised me the the best KZ earphone is the ( KZ EDX ) .. Although it's cheap when compared to the others earphone. What do you think, is the KZ EDX best choice ?
I have never tried the AS12 but depends what sound you want as the ZAX is more vocal forward than the CA16 and slightly less bassy. CA16 is a more smooth sounding. EDX is only good if you basically have no money.

great! I would like to know which one is best in generating detail/micro detail sounds and overall technicalities among those 3 iems. Thanks in advance.

Great price and glad she likes it :)

Hey, man! Thanks for reviewing this. I just have a question whether or not it can be compatible to bluetooth. And if so, how?
It is by using some sort of Bluetooth adapter or some thing like a TRN BT20s.

It's not a big shell so no issue with comfort. ZST X is similar size.

WibuSquire from what i know t2+ has more bass and ssr has more detail. Also ssr is harder to drive

I love to see the trend of flat tuning from moondrop ssr on budget IEM. Wish KZ make one too.
We will see but this is not that bassy and I have a comparison video up next.
Just bought these. They sound lke a right bargain :) also I got some money off AliExpress :)
Niiiiiice Mama Spoon :)
How do you get that money?
The money off you mean? Went to the link Vortex Reviews provides and went to the homepage. On there it says for new customers money off coupons 🤑😊
These or TRN st1???
Neither. I would go for the QKZ VK4 or Kbear KS1.
Is there any better option in its price range
Not as far as I am aware but there is a lot of cheap gear out there.
Is these more bassy than the vk4?
I would say they are not.
Would you recommend this or the KZ ZSN
I have never tried the KZ ZSN but did try the ZSN Pro and didn't like it.
@@VortexReviews1 why didn't you like the zsn pro?
@@emmanuelagha2270 Far too sharp sounding and there are better earphones out there for the same money.

I don't game with earphones but it might be okay for what you want.
Blon Bl-03 or these?
Probably Blon but these are usable out of the box and are a quarter of the price.

Is this compatible to become Bluetooth?
Yes. You need a 2 pin bluetooth adapter.
Soundmagic e10c or this?
Been a while since I listened to a E10 so not sure to be honest but going from memory the E10 was smoother sounding and maybe more mid bass?
Is this a bluetooth? Or I can use it wireless?
It is not Bluetooth but it can be used with a Bluetooth adapter. It is not wireless.
So it may be not the same driver as kz ed12.

hows the bass??
Mine has lean mid bass and decent sub bass but others have reported different.
are these good for stage?
Never tried for stage use.
Yes definitely
Any budget 2Pin 0.75mm cable for this model?
The included one is fine or search for the cheap Kbear cables.
