Over here it just speaks about not being perfect when using our mouth... Not being perfect is not equal to sinning.. Nobody is perfect...
In some English translations, they have used the word "Stumble"... Which again doesn't explicitly mean Sin... It just means hitting a hurdle from being perfect...

நம்முடைய அவயவங்களில் நாவானது முழுச்சரீரத்தையும் கறைப்படுத்தி, ஆயுள் சக்கரத்தைக் கொளுத்திவிடுகிறதாயும், நரக அக்கினியினால் கொளுத்தப்படுகிறதாயும் இருக்கிறது!
👉3:9 அதினாலே நாம் பிதாவாகிய தேவனைத் துதிக்கிறோம்; தேவனுடைய சாயலின்படி உண்டாக்கப்பட்ட மனுஷரை அதினாலேயே சபிக்கிறோம்.
👉3:14 உங்கள் இருதயத்திலே கசப்பான வைராக்கியத்தையும் விரோதத்தையும் வைத்தீர்களானால், நீங்கள் பெருமைபாராட்டாதிருங்கள்.
👉3:16 வைராக்கியமும் விரோதமும் எங்கே உண்டோ, அங்கே கலகமும் சகல துர்ச்செய்கைகளுமுண்டு.
1)நாவினால் தவறுவது என்றால் பாவம் செய்வதை குறிக்கிறது. தவறுவதும் மீறுவதும் பாவம் செய்வதும் எல்லாமே ஒரே அர்த்தம்தான்.
2)ஒருவன் வேறொருவனுக்கு தான் வருவதாக வாக்கு கொடுத்துவிட்டு, போகாதிருந்தால் அவன் சொல் தவறினவனாவான்.
3)கலியாணம் செய்துகொள்ளும் போது உன்னைவிட்டு பிரியமாட்டேன் என்று வாக்கு கொடுத்துவிட்டு, பிரிந்துபோனால் அவன் சொல் தவறினவனாவான். இது வெறும் சொல் தவறா? அல்லது நாவினால் உண்டான பாவமா?
4)யாக்கோபு 3 ஆம் அதிகாரத்தில் போதகர்களாக விரும்புகிறவர்களுக்காக யாக்கோபு எழுதுகிறார். அவர்கள் நாவினால் பாவம் செய்ய கூடும் என்பதால் அநேகர் போதகர்களாகாதிருங்கள் என்று விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துகிறார்.
5)இது விசுவாசிகளுக்கும் பொருந்தும். மொத்தத்தில் அவர் நாவுதான் பாவம் செய்வதற்கு அடிப்படை காரணம் என்கிறார்.
6)நாவினால் சொல் தவறுவது வேறு; பாவம் செய்வது வேறு என்பதல்ல. நாவினால் சொல் தவறும்போது பாவம் செய்ய நேரிடுகிறது என்பதுதான் யாக்கோபுனுடைய மைய கருத்து.
