Well that, and it was VERY illegal. First amendment rights, you can't tell them what they can and can't say as long as it doesn't advocate for violence. Just like how people are trying to police speech in 2021.

I have a friend who is a cop and this song is his favorite NWA song, ironic
Music is one thing that can bring people together, especially when there is passion behind it.
He may be a cop but he isn’t a crooked cop that’s why he’s not offended by this song. Also thank your friend for putting his life on the line everyday to protect the community
When I went to the police academy in the early 90’s the instructor was furious that everyone of my generation in the academy class knew this song word for word as well as easy e’s “nobody move”. He got pissed because we were singing along when he played it to “show us the kind of crap criminals listened to”
They didn’t get it. Boomers. Lol
I always interpreted this song as not necessarily saying “fuck all police” but “fuck the racist/corrupted police”

I was at this show at the Joe. First time at a concert a thought I could possibly lose my life lol. N.W.A came out played 2 songs or so, then played “ Fuck the Police” and before anyone knew it, the cop’s made a huge mistake by shooting off flair guns. Everyone thought it was gunfire. Just like portrayed here in the movie. The main floor cleared and people were “100 miles and running” if you will. My friend’s and I had upper bowl. Even up there it was chaos. I saw one guy rip one of the red seats right out of the bolts and chuck it over the railings on to the main floor. We ran out there, but the cops closed all the doors to the exits. Things were getting tense. Finally, they opened the doors. Everything you see here up on the overpass was true. People were throwing fire bombs, glasses , bottles, onto the freeway. I’ll never forget seeing this one guy get beat ferociously down the steep steps leading up the Joe. Finally made it home and enjoyed watching the footage all night on the local news. Lol. Least I can say.. I was there. Good bedtime story for the kids lol.

It's not. One was just a comedy movie. The other was based on a true story.
Still a legend!
He didnt hate all cops, just the racist and corrupt ones
Watch surviving Compton . And an interview by the Arabian prince . They all pretended like they were gangsters but in reality nothing .
They may have gotten roughed up by the police , but who doesn't when ur out making trouble instead of studying. They don't want to accept it. If that were the case look at their track record of the number of women they impregnated . Yes I know it's a two way ave. But not entirely given that the women can't get pregnant again while pregnant . But they were getting another girl pregnant right after .
And Dre's abusive past towards women . Broke a lovely girl's nose twice . They hate the police for supposed brutality but they themselves engaged in such brutality when things were to their advantage .... Dee Barnes , Michele'le
Eh, it was comedy. He takes aim at racism from cops even in the moviez
