Amazingly beautiful building, with the perfect music. Nicely done! I felt like a time traveler from the past seeing the future for the first time. "2001: A Space Odyssey" comes immediately to mind! Enchanting. This makes me want to visit this place.
2:44 - The sound of the dial tone fading out gave me chills as it almost symbolizes the last calls with loved ones on that horrific and dreadful day in September 2001.
Thank You so much for creating this video! Having contributed to this engineering feat of erecting such amazing structure, but can't afford to visit... this is wonderful to observe the final product.
Despite other comments here, I happen to think it's very elegant and nice job with the camera. It is nice and also emotional to see life back in that area again. I say that because I used to sneak on the path trains to the twin towers when I was a kid. They've done a fine job rebuilding...and some of the ceilings remind me of the old WTC...still ..something is missing..it's not the same.
I read comments of the oculus being plain, boring and other nonsence. I know its the cheapest shot nowadays to pick on Calatrava, I've even done it myself many times. However one thing is the common water leakage in his buildings (solved in this case), odd selection of materials (not in this project) and "overbudgeting" and another is the sheer aesthetic and harmony of its forms, I know beauty is something subjective, but not in a million years this building is "boring" o "plain", more of the contrary. In fact its so easy to prove that this building stands out by its originality, simply compare it to the rest of NY's buildings! Being calatrava an excentric designer and all of his traits, i had to take off my hat with this one. I was mesmerized by this vid.
I don't think they could have made this any more boring if they tried. There is literally no character and it looks like a sterile hospital of the future. Nothing about this design appeals to me. In fact, the only emotion I get from watching this video is depression. This place should have made one feel hopeful and filled with joy. They should have gotten the imaginears from Disney to help them out.
athemocracy I was there twice already and most of the stores are completed. Most of the stores are high-end and snobish, but that still doesn't change how boring this place is. The stores are pushed to the side, but the occulus is just an empty shell and extremely steril. IMHO it's too huge to give it any atmmosphere at this point. The only reason I might go there again is for the store Eataly, other then that, twice was enough.

Thanks so much for the great tour. Going to New York in May, can't wait to see all of the updates at the World Trade Center!!

Wow, well done. I feel as though I've just seen the future.

From the video, the space looks awesome in the same way the Cathedrals are awesome.

Outstanding video and accompanying music score!
Great tour!
Beautiful.
Great job and thank you. Love the music too.
Thanks for the great tour!
A lot of people don’t like the oculus but I think it’s unique and what else is unique, New York
Thanks for the footage! Are there indeed two sets of double doors at 8:34 leading to the RW trains?
Nice building smart and modern very futuristic design cool😎😎👍👍
So they have regular staircase? I was wondering that
When this video was made this place was only open to the people who use it as a train station
The all- seeing eye. Eye of horus. Calatrava is occultist.
The same Satanic psychopaths responsible for the Black Flag operation, the sheeple have no clue, welcome to the NWO.
What purpose does it have ?
Очень не плохо!
The beams kinda look like pokeballs

wish they would have built a mall with shops and food/drinks in there like the old WTC
Those are store fronts along the corridors.
This is the mall
that comment couldnt be more Murica! if it tried....
Looks like a lot of wasted space. Go back when the project is completed...
I know people have to get from point A to point B, but it still seems like the corridors are wasted space.
Soulless. Are you in New York? Seoul? Melborne? Galway? - every looks the same nowadays.
Sargon is Irrelevant
Shut up.

Hospital, yes, or some kind of mausoleum. Depressing, to say the least.
Dude, this is before the retail & eateries have been opened...It'll get more lively, and will have an identity.
