The Trevor James Signature Custom Raw Tenor & Alto Saxophones are a professional line of instruments now available in the United States and Canada. The flagship large bell Raw model is a bare‐brass finish. After the manufacturing process, the saxophone is simply cleaned and coated in a wax finish, preserving the raw brass style. The lack of lacquer means the saxophone will age naturally over time, giving it an even more vintage look and feel. The horn looks stunning with it’s detailed engraving on the bell, as well as the model name engraved into the crook.
Along with a well built body that includes level and smooth tone holes, the Signature Custom Raw saxophones come with other features that have become a staple of the best modern saxophones.

Great playing! It's a fantastic horn. I'd been through a MK VI and a 82ZII and much prefer the TJ SC RAW; actually, the best of both these other style horns.
that vandoren ligature comes with 3 different plates: four dots, rails parallel to the reed/ neck and rails perpendicular to the reed/neck. Which one do you use John?
i've asked him this before and he didn't respond, must be the secret to his sound ;)
Ligatures have little to no impact on one’s sound
sarcasm is tough to pick up on in a UA-cam comment, I know 😌! And actually I'd have to disagree. It may not be apparent to the audience, but to the player the response characteristics can change, which can inherently change how the player plays, intern affecting "sound". So I guess that is subjective. @@alessandrovillatoro
@@aaronlevinfilms if you’re talking about the “feel” from the players perspective then yeah you can have a sense of slight change from different ligatures
