Who else remembers when motor trend used to get millions of views and had a bunch of fans then they started charging us to watch and they stopped posting head to head and now we all disappeared
It's not even that expensive. It's like$12 a year

The worst part is how "What's on UA-cam will always be on UA-cam. We will not remove what is already out there" Then they removed a bunch of it..../sigh

I prefer the format from the air strip at Nasa where you guys have a single race with all cars on the same surface then have a 1/4 and 1/2 mile splits.

@@MoJo-2977 oh jesus quit your pearl clutching already. They lineup 10-12 cars and have 1 giant grand drag race on Vandenberg Air Force runway. They are inside a car and not some hippy woodstock love fest.

@@michaelvickers89 But carwow over time puts so many cars against each other and race them multiple times in different ways, so we get to see the difference in performance. Why would a 20 cars drag race be such a big deal if carwow has already shown most if not all of the cars against each other that will be featured on this upcoming "greatest dragrace" video? It'll probably be a good video, but it doesn't help much about knowing the difference in performance, and they don't add many desirable cars anyway like an SVJ, model S P, F8, Huracan, Taycan, etc. Basically, I'd call Carwow and Dragtimes the greatest drag races content creators not MT at all.
I agree. I feel like MT just runs the drag race over and over until the results match the manufacturer times. Carwow and drag times are more real world results.
Final will 99% be turbo s vs f8, and if it goes for only 1/4 mile the Porsche will win, anything longer than that the f8 will take victory

@@yumm1944 LMAO NO. After 60 mph the Ferrari is WAY faster than the Turbo S. Drag times got the F8 to do a 10.1 quarter mile without launch control. And it’s still significantly slower to 60 mph than the 911. After that, it eats it alive. In a 1/2 mile the F8 would kill the 911. Just compare their 100-200 km/h times...
@@mikemoggerson6651 10.1 on a prepped surface with continuous tries to even reach a 10.1. On a normal surface the F8 is even slower than the Pista which got a 10.3 to 10.4 1/4 Mile. Your acting as if the Turbo S is slow from 100-200, which it isn't, F8 takes around or just under 5 seconds to 100-200, and the Porsche takes around 5.5 to 6 seconds. You can't take away the fact the Turbo S is probably the fastest AWD supercar there is, it's only beaten in acceleration by RWD cars above it's class (720, F8)

I keep wondering why you have never made a " World's Greatest Drag Race" with the Dodge Demon.
Possibly because the 1000hp Demonology Demon can't beat a standard 720s!

That depends on the bike + rider, cars are getting quicker and the gap between a superbike and a supercar is VERY minimal now. There was a video of a stock 720s taking out a 2020 S1000RR over the 1/4 mile. The motorbike world needs to find a way to take control again.. My previous bike was an A1 ZX12R!

I would assume that the F8 Tributo is gonna win, followed by either the Porsche, Lambo, or Mustang. Porsche and Lambo have AWD, so it’ll be close between them, but the Mustang might just have enough power to run them down.

So basically what carwow and many other channels have done already. Wish you guys would make cars go on a track like you did in the past (at least, I'm pretty sure you did this). Some cars that aren't great in a drag race are way more capable on a track, like the Honda NSX f.e.
