Week 2 of the Stitchy Ladies Untamed!: Travel Stitch Journal #66

In what crazy places have you pulled out your stitching? Have stitching, will travel! This is week 2 of our get together for Road2California and other travels around the Southern California. We went to our class at Road2CA with our fabrics cut and ready to go. We were so happy to meet Mona and Shelby, who also signed up the the Linda J. Hahn, "South Beach Spinners" quilt class. We spent a full day at Disneyland and had a great time. The lure of paying a visit to Sew Yeah Quilting in Las Vegas was just too strong and we ended up there, happily meeting Pat Ada, as well as Sew Yeah's Zachary and Ramie. Everyone enjoyed some culture, for sure, with a visit to the Disney Concert Hall and as well as to the Pantages. They ladies did an excellent job leading the bag construction start, helping me at my volunteer work. And, finally no visit to our home is complete without sharing a meal at our other dining room table up the street, VeraCruz Restaurant.
My travel leader bug was absolutely triggered in the planning, anticipation, and the experience of it all with Laura-Lynn ‪@MPQS‬, Lois, and Tracee. I had so much to share with them and I hope that by now that they have recovered from my grueling stitchy itinerary. Well done, ladies.
