It reminds me of my father, He played the guitar beautifully, I missed him even if he died 35 yrs. ago. So peaceful to listened eve though , our life now is in chaos, amidst the trials, tribulations and persecution, God loves us so much, John 3:16- “For God-so love the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believe in him will not perish ,but have eternal life”.

This brings back the memories of Christmas eve service at our Lutheran church with my parents. The church would have the small children come up to the front alter steps. The lights were all off but the lights of the huge Christmas tree and front candles. Then someone sat down with the children and would play Christmas songs on a acoustic guitar This is something I would like to see again.

s Thank you so much for this message, if only EVERY person would read this with an open heart, how ironic that just 30 minutes ago I stood looking out the spare bedroom window, praying...praying for my family, family members who I think don’t think of Jesus,or our Blessed Mother, or my own children...I could be wrong, but it worries me that they may never find their way, so much is focused on material things, big trucks, biggest campers, nicest clothes, nicest homes, the best restaurants, etc....but how much kindness and compassion is given to those who have nothing like the homeless? So I prayed for my family. I’ve been praying so hard (maybe not hard enough or LONG enough) for these past 8-9 months as I’m suffering from hearing problems (or sounds/noises in my ears, hoping they are not coming from my brain...yikes..lol) but it is enough to scare me,to stress me out and cause anxiety and panic....so iv3 turned to prayer, a lot of prayers and giving thanks throughout the day, but I’ve spent more days feeling “alone” and that I’m praying to 4 walls...it saddens me that I feel this way (starting to cry in shame), if I stop believing, stop praying, stop asking...then what else do I have? So I will continue to pray,and believe even more. The 30 minutes praying I thought was enough, praying for 3 hours for healing for all,esp now, is not much to ask for...if our Lord Jesus was able to pray earnestly, why can’t we all. Our world definitely has changed since I was a young child, the crosses were removed in schools, our children no longer say the Lord’s Prayer before class, my own family won5 say grace before dinner (so I silently say it for them) , our local church has been empty, even before covid...so much has changed....I guess the world depends on people like you and me and everyone else who continues to pray, ppl who read the bible, and ppl who pray and worship (I miss those days), sorry for the long post..lol...your prayers touched my heart and I will often come back to read them. I started beginner guitar at 70 years old several years ago at our local senior center and can play basic cords and simple songs now and enjoy it. I can't imagine how much practice time, commitment + talent to reach this level of guitar playing. Absolute perfection and beauty. Very happy I can find you on Spotify too! Thank you. 🤩
Hi Mark, That's great that you've started your journey with the guitar. It has taken me a lot of practice but I also really enjoy the guitar. I didn't have much natural talent for music. Hi Melisa, When I first recorded a Christmas album, I learned to play a lot of these songs in June to record it in time for Christmas that year. I thought is was so funny that I was playing all of these Christmas songs in the summer. Funny how that works. God bless!

I started beginner guitar at 70 years old several years ago at our local senior center and can play basic cords and simple songs now and enjoy it. I can't imagine how much practice time, commitment + talent to reach this level of guitar playing. Absolute perfection and beauty. Very happy I can find you on Spotify too! Thank you. 🤩
Hi Mark, That's great that you've started your journey with the guitar. It has taken me a lot of practice but I also really enjoy the guitar. I didn't have much natural talent for music. It's June but here I am, missing Christmas
Hi Melisa, When I first recorded a Christmas album, I learned to play a lot of these songs in June to record it in time for Christmas that year. I thought is was so funny that I was playing all of these Christmas songs in the summer. Funny how that works. God bless!
